nope, i did find the exact patent this was registered to tho a 2001 patent application by DAIKIN (filed as JP2003042700A) describes a method for creating “a highly rigid, self-sharpening tungsten penetrator using amorphous metal and heavy metal particulates:” explicitly use a “cyclic heat-treatment and double-cycle sintering process” that “causes a phenomenon similar to the self-sharpening effect of the depleted uranium penetrator”
Wouldnt making metal particles sub micron sized help with localized heat buildup thus when mushroom would occur the “bend” so to call it would heat up, thermodynamically degrade itself and fall off?

im into mechanical engineer after i abandoned airspace engineering(it was defunded by the government sadly) so im more used to thermos and this kind of stuff, until they pull me into real thermos calculation, that is my fracture point

Btw thanks for the Japans patent link, bit too long of a read for this late at night but I am guessing they played with magnesium in their alloy since magnesium likes to burn when put in contact with some other metals
for what i could find its nickel- iron alloy, tungsten particulate + amorphous metal matrix composite, it basically causes the apfsds to peel by layers and thanks to that it just peels like a banana lol

I think the germans also developed for their newer penetrators the same capability but in a slightly different way. Though not sure exactly how it works, need to do some digging about it. Generally everyone is going in that direction to copy the DU behaviour with their penetrators. New generation of tank guns and their shells designs are finally becoming interesting and not only long rod, full speed send and hope for the best lol

Realistically the only thing a reload buff achieves is making them less annoying to play. T-80s going to 6s did not change their rankings at all.

Been doing some digging and even though it is very arguable for or against but if you look at the patterns of RU military and how they implement and move stuff from testing phases to operational or optional for sale the MT variant isnt so unrealistic even though finding any photo proof other than Izd. 65MT seeker is pretty much impossible which for RU side of things isnt really anything new.Most of the info on their weaponary comes from western sources anyway and even if they did come from RU themselves, none would believe it anyway because they must be lying, right? Right.

Show me a document or a video that says/proves a human can reload a shell into the breach in 5 seconds while going 60kmh on rough terrain jumping, turning, yawing…The seeker got its GRAU index, its being offered for sale for a few years now, the fact that RU Army didnt buy it probably means they are too expensive and they found a workaround as RU military often does to cut costs, sanctions play a role aswell but one thing is for certain. If it never existed and is just a made up imaginary missile, why would it get a GRAU index and still years later be offered for sale? I know its a stretch of an argument and me personally wouldnt add such weapons to the game with such small maps, also the MT seeker on a missile with that much range doesnt make much sense to me either.

You cant seem to understand that I am not defending RU vehicles but the plain logic…38MT is unrealistic? Remove it! 5 seconds reload on the move is unrealistic? Remove it! Pixel hunting is unrealistic? Remove it! Vehicle repairs on the field in the middle of a engagement zone is unrealistic? Remove it! If you do all that all you are left with is fancy vehicle models in the hangar to look at.
But the topic of unrealistic, made up weaponary and/or facts applies only to RU vehicles on this forum because theres no way someone can have anything better than the almighty US, right? Right.

yeah those are game mechanics…, the 38MT, BMPT belt, Su30 racks are not game mechanics, they are additions that just seem to follow different rules compared to anyone else. How youre not understanding the difference is beyond me.
No it only applies to ru because everyone else is generally suffering from it not profiting? Also no idea where you got the US part from.
