Yes but the prototype still exists (one sits in a museum now iirc). We have a bunch of prototype MBTs at the top tier so I still see them adding it at some point.
However since the SEPv3 never seems to be added to the game it will be a long time before we are even close to the SEPv4.

The Abrams is a 50 year old platform and so is the Leopard 2, kind of a pot calling the kettle black situation here.
SEP v3 and 2A8 also wouldn’t offer a whole lot more than the current SEP and 2A7V don’t already offer.

Russian tanks are bad. That’s that. People play other nations simply because their tanks are better and offer more. 6.7 sec reload for Russian AZ loaders won’t fix their inherent and innate issue of just being bad.
Best protection of any MBT in game is a large perk

A tank that can zoom around and surprise enemies, take easy cover, retreat well, and engage targets quickly back-to-back-to-back.
