Russian top tier tanks need a fair buff

At least current engines are compatible without any major modification or redesign unlike IRBIS radar and double pylons.

If you have time right now i’ll invite you to a custom battle.

Maybe, but given how they’ve treated the J-10C for example. its another case of major double standards.

give me a sec to boot up the game.

Agree.

J-10C should’ve gotten WS-10B engine considering its the current engine that is using while we havent seen any SU-30SM2 with AL-41 engines or IRBIS radar.

Yup. If I tilt my nose up I get hit. I’ll send clips when I cut them.

You can fire a APFSDS straight through the side profile of the BMPT’s gun systems and it does nothing. The side armour ERA can stop Darts when it should only stop HEAT/HESH and the lower plate can bounce top rounds and the driver hatch only barely works. Sure from the side and rear it’s easy to kill. HEAT and HESH overpressure does nothing to the ammo and guns/missiles…

(STANAG level 6 means impervious to modern 30mm at 500m zero degrees.) The lack of spall liners in modern Western IFV’s is crazy in this game. Anyway I’m done for the day. Can’t bring myself to log on because it’s not fun.
Not worth it for 4 years running.

people probably wouldnt mind russian vehicles getting some sort of buff (although i honestly dont know what there is to buff anymore as seemingly everything possible - and not possible has already been implemented) if it wasnt for their damage models to be such utter bs.

Shooting weakspots/critical components shouldnt consistently be a gamble, yet it is on the majority of russian mbts - examples:

  • barrel is inconsistent due to barrel hp changes

  • breech is super inconsistent because of trunnions, unecessary volumetric plates and the 45mm CHA cradle that prevents spall from damaging it

  • drivers hatch is inconsistent due to random volumetric pixels/plates

  • lfp is extremely inconsistent too as the unless you hit the upper part of it and direct-hit a charge (otherwise: “driver” “engine” - sometimes “autoloader”)

  • Side-shots are inconsistent due to bs auto-destab ERA that deletes all residual penetration and thus damage (which depends on rod-diameter and residual penetration)

  • autoloader module is literally a better spall-liner (it eats all spall instead of reducing the spall-cone and cant spall itself due to the armorThrough value being too low)

Possibly buff the traction of tanks?

i seem to have trouble traversing through hills with any of the T series

also sorry to ask, but I recall it was your post that showed the Leo2 gun breech spalls extensively, no?

That’d be a global buff to all tanks, not T-series explicitly - as its something that every ground vehicle suffers from.

Yes, however it’s not the breech but the trunnions that do so (on some Leo 2’s, not all of them as some were fixed)

Considering pretty much all of this is false, I don’t think you have touched this game for a WHILE.

hence why i say it, its possible to make and it would benefit the game, but also russian tanks as they suffer from lack of mobility

As a Swedish main grinding 10.7 with my Leo2A4s I wish I had chosen the USSR instead, I can get good kill games but my team still gets steamrolled by BMPTs and 2S38s. the huge difference in SPAAs and CAS at the BR doesn’t help either. I also tend to get matched with Germany, aka level 25s in the premium 2A4.
Germany and Sweden has some of the worst winrates in the game, while the USSR has 50%+ winrates in every BR after 4.7

Confirmation bias.

Proof?

Same reason Chinese ones are.

The BMPT can use, and does use APDS. A more fair comparison would be if the BMPT had APFSDS, which it can’t use IRL.

It does?

China is the worst not Russia.

Russias MBT aren’t good either minus the magic ERA / non exploding Ammo/Autoloader. But imagine them without that - thats basically Chinese MBT…at least you can reverse i guess

Huh? China is one of the better top tier nations now. M1A2T literally saved them.
