I think seeing people pay that amount of money to get their 2d waifus on a tank is generally sad, but it gets even worse when those same people are actively accusing Gaijin of being a biased, propaganda fueled company that willingly harm the gameplay experience of thousands of their players.

If you’re implying that gaijin has a monetary incentive to keeping the game in a perpetual state of in balance to generate extra profit then you’d be right.
However a significant portion of gaijin profit comes from pack sales (like this one coming up), people rage-buying tech tree vehicles and mods with GE and purchasing premium time, a tiny percentage of the community buying a new pack is a drop in the ocean lol
