However a significant portion of gaijin profit comes from pack sales (like this one coming up), people rage-buying tech tree vehicles and mods with GE and purchasing premium time, a tiny percentage of the community buying a new pack is a drop in the ocean lol

It does exist. Surveys are data, opinions are data, data is not just numbers.
It’s a bit naive to think they’ll use that money to fix issues in the game most people have a problem with, as the game is a decade old by now and conveniently we had dozens of big issues that took years (or were never) to resolve.
This is even worse if coming from a guy that thinks bias is real and Gaijin is willingly making experience of a large chunk of the playerbase worse.

Boycotting and it’s implicit encouragement are against gaijin TOS iirc, and it’s utterly counterproductive to do so on an individual level, at that point I’m disadvantaging myself in a game that I play in my free time, and spend money where i can boost progress because I have it on hand.
I’m no economist or rational consumer, so I’m going to keep spending my money how I like, especially since it bears no effect on gaijin’s balancing decisions, unlesss you are willing to bite on the madman theory that Gaijin adds OP vehicles to the game in order to encourage whales to GE their way to said vehicle… but that would mean an element of bias right so couldn’t possibly be trhe
