Russian Teams Steamrolling NATO - Top Tier is Broken Again?

Issue is players play multiple trees.
Good players will gravitate to Russia or the new hotness in game.

Even US teams seem better right now

Lol, no

IDK about that

For a time i suppose they will

But good players usually go for a challenge after they are bored, so they eventually go back to weaker vehicles. Just a theory though

Not like the players are necessarily the core of the issue at hand

one can esaily see from the files that a KH38 goes twice as fast as its competition while LMUR has more explosive and is SAPHE, while also being faster than a Spike for example.

Don’t even get me into side ERA on russian MBTs, paper thin but somehow more efficient against Kinetic AND heat ammunitions compared to concrete block sized NATO ERA. Bye bye physics, you will be missed

You claimed earlier that between 30-70% of the time you shoot a T-series it survives no?

That would imply a massive aiming or skill issue if that is true.

With L27A1 that is the norm. And I have receipts, it’s incredibly RNG. Britains top tier round is L27A1

I don’t doubt the figures, I’m just challenging if it’s a game issue or player issue.

It’s surely not the player issue, it’s never that on this forum.

L27A1 is pretty meh, does pretty standard damage to weakspots on soviet tanks, really struggled with uparmoured leopards, then everything else is pretty easy to kill still, i need to get my chally 2 K/D up though, I had a miserable stock grind

Yeah thats definitely an overstatement on his behalf, soviet tank are like a 80-90% instant kill if aiming correctly, with that 10% being when the fuel tank catches the round instead of the ammo rack, which supposedly got fixed

having played the HSTVL a lot recently I very much disagree, the number of rounds ive had them eat to LFP and sides is insane

HSTVL is different though, it’s round is infamously iffy

sure, but it both shouldnt be, and it is still rounds passing through the ammo and crew members without killing or doing anywhere near as much damage as it should

I don’t really care tbh, and you can’t compare a 75mm to a 120mm

you can with subcaliber rounds, and HSTVL dart perpetrator dimensions are much larger than the bore caliber suggests

Depends on people, but for me as long as we operate in the Canon and Breech Torture meta, and gun barrel optics, armour is utterly worthless and I’m better off running a vehicle that sacrifices protection in favor of mobility, firepower, and various utilities.

Gaijin’s whacky code is a big part, but let’s not pretend the majority of the playerbase is actively playing the game instead of just repeatedly rolling the dice until the stars align in their weekly exceptional match…

Have you used russian top tier?

Ive used almost every top tier in the game and generally germany and USA are more coddled.
The leopards are just too easy to use.

Not the norm when I use it chief and fhe CR2s are my second most used top tier MBTs between them.

Believe me it’s the latter, The L27A1 in my experience is fine providing you actually aim.
Same as how im using the TKX P and type.90s at 12.0 and doing fine with JM33.

If JM33 can one tap a damn T series L2A1 can

I haven’t and I dont dispute the 2A7 versions are the best tanks in the game. That’s not to say that Gaijin makes a lot of concessions to allow Russian tanks/vehicles to compete with them.
When I say coddled I look at how a 10.7, T-72 with exactly the same autoloader as a later variant will almost with certainty explode or explode with a higher frequency. Take that same loader and tank and slap some bags on the side of it (again no other changes) and it suddenly reduces dramatically.
Same with the T-80B and the T-80BVM. Chinese tanks do not get this luxury despite being the exact same auto loader.

We should remember that while the T-90M is Russias premier tank it has been proven to be using the same composite array as the T-72B (89) There is not a current NATO round in service that would not go through the front of a T-90M. In game inpenetrable barring a tiny weakspot. NATO armour and ammo quality is held back to again allow Russia to compete.

Air is similar, hold back MICA and AMRAAM because R-77 and R-77-1 are a dog poop missile in the real world but not in game

That aside we look at CAS and for months they have had the best CAS the Kh-38s have broken the game. and now LMUR, having the best SAM again because why should Skysabre and SAMP-T be able to fire independant of the Radar system.

No other nation gets so many concensions made in the guise of “balance”

The hull armor (the composite array) on the T-90M may be (we dont know for sure, but since they use the same hull, 99% its the same) the same as the one on the T-72B, the turret - we have no clue… but the biggest difference is that T-72 hull and turret are covered with K5 ERA and the T-90M with Relict ERA… so… stop once and for all with tha BS about the “mucH NaTo aNti-ERa tipPs”… they haven’t been tested on Relict.

MICA held back??? This is the only ARH missile with 7° notch “window”, every other is with 30°. Do you even play ARB/SB???
Both AMRAAM and R-77/R-77-1 underperforme compared to IRL. In the case of AMRAAM - the seakers . In the case of R-77’s - the seekers and the drag model of the grid fins.

BUK is not the best SAM and never was…

Probably because the launcher vehichles don’t have radars.
