Russian Teams Steamrolling NATO - Top Tier is Broken Again?

Yeah so as i stated initially its a bandaid fix to somewhat get a similar capability without actually putting in the work for the actual, real mechanics.

But why are the possibilites only:

  1. It should not be in the game because its cancelled so there must be a cancellation document
  2. It should be in the game, because there is no such document and we have a brochure
what about the third option tho
  3. Its not cancelled therefore theres no cancellation document but the program hasnt actually produced a fired and tested prototype and therefore it should not be in the game

Ok, so why is the optical aperture Blue, and opaque in the brochure image? And that the Known mockup is similar.

I know, but no one would touch the POINT track ranges, just the TRACK one as that’s when the missile’s seeker actually starts to actively track a target.

38MTE doesn’t look to be something that’s still in the prototype stage, as it’s literally been listed and buried in the brochure with probably dozen other weapon systems. You don’t do that with something you need funding on.

Maybe but there is not a single proof of production, no export orders and not even a documented test or anything like that so why should it be in the game?

That’s a Su35.

Either way the current doblue R77 racks between the engines are completetely out of place

Yes, You can mount the AGM-65D to the LAU-88/A or LAU-117/A you just lose out on the ability to correlate all of the seekers to the same boresight, and have them be remembered between launches.

Which is why the LAU-88A/A and LAU-117A/A are preferred.

It wouldn’t retain all functionality, though.

Again, you would lose out on functionality and need to include an -9 pin to 11 pin adapter.

It’s not Coolant related, the -9L moves the Coolant onboard, its the Cabling that causes the issue.

If that were the case where is the F-16A-15ADF’s A2G ordnance?

They do the AGM-119A, has LOAL.

Do I need to bring up the specified “NEΔK” value of .270 kelvin, and needing a Delta of 4 to maintain a track in the brochure? It’s not tracking a tank at any kind of range, All it should be good for is Ships and large installations.

Oh, and by the way all three relevant reports are still awaiting implementation.

It’s been more than a year since they were “Accepted”, at this point.

And we can’t get later Stingers for the ATAL, because…

AH-64E V6 Radar

General Dynamics explicitly stated there was no A2G systems in F-16A ADF. That’s why.
We also have the unclassified manuals.

And yes, cabling was implied in my post.

Which has the same distance between engines as Su-27 and 30.

Why do they mark everything as suggestion? It’s not a suggestion it’s a bug that needs to be fixed.

Where?

Then why up them to -15OCU spec before undergoing, final refit to -15ADF standards?

Because if it uses Historical documentation, it’s automatically “a suggestion” as it requires further review. Even if it’s an open & shut case.

A good example is this one

JDAM Battery life incorrect

“Thank you, forwarded as a suggestion.”

Gatekeeping something just because it’s not popular isn’t the way to go.

Its not about being popular or not. Its about proving that it is actually combat ready and fully integrated. Which is what Gaijin usually requires from weapons to be added but somehow waived the KH38MT through even tho it has no proof like that

-15 OCU is after ADF.
OCU is… entirely decentralized upgrading.
It is not MLU, no where near as comprehensive and standardized as MLUs.

An OCU could mean new radar, weapons, instrumentation.
OR it could mean wiring changes and avionics package upgrades.
Or anything else.

F-16 ADF

" The first F-16A ADF conversion was completed in February 1989, while a contract was placed for kits to update and modify a total of 270 F-16A/B’s at the Ogden Air Logistics Center in Utah. The Block 15 airframes used for the ADF program were all meant to be upgraded to block 15OCU standard, and both programs ran in conjunction. Aircraft entering the Ogden ALC for ADF upgrade also received the Block 15OCU avionics installation. The net result is that all ADF aircraft are Block 15OCU airframes. The last ADF left Ogden in 1992."

its a really fun tank honestly the only thing i dont like about it is the reload but everything else about it is nice.

I mean its a fully stabilized 122mm APHE slinger whats not to like.

they absolutely do not, everything suggests it doesnt exist past a mockup looking for export sales to fund development

it is very common to offer an option that doesnt actually exist by someone ordering it will provide the funding for development

and yeah its not in the prototype stage because it never got to that, everything weve seen suggests it never progressed past a mockup in a brochure

Thales owns russian optical development lol, the Russians haven’t gotten very far without their Catherine FCs

Current KH-38MT is a literal work of fiction as the missile itself, let alone a functional one on various launch platforms
