Not a single source explicitly stated the G load was average.
Present me with one and I’ll change my mind.
there is also further out images that show it has a sign for MLE infront of it
38ME being the marking for a family of modular missiles that are meant to be exported.
That isn’t the laser seeker.
heres a pretty good rundown on how stupid it is
and there is no evidence that it is a functional IR seeker like you claim
And i might know why gaijin decided to add Kh-38M to Su-30SM, the same brochure which we all know had caption saying something about future integrations. There was Su-25, Su-30MK etc and gaijin probably thinks that if older model could or was proposed to carry them so the newer one can do the same
Also pylons for Kh-38M family are the same as those for Kh-29 missile AKU-58AE so technically Su-30SM can carry them on the same pylons as Kh-29 but we don’t know if VKS integrated missile with the aircraft. Is that logic stupid? Of course it is. Do i agree with that? Of course not.
it also doesnt matter because its not enough evidence for its addition
I am making this post to explain why in my view the source giving 20 g for the Stinger missile is almost certainly referring to what Gaijin call “average overload”, rather than the “peak overload” as they claim.
Stopped reading there as he’s basically fighting assumptions with more assumptions.
Ye but the seeker on this is laser one from what i understand
you mean you didnt actually look at the sources for it? because there are multiple
The MT one ? I doubt that, unless you have proof of course
Denial, but sure :
You will keep denying though, so i won’t insist further
Seems a little thin compared to the list i gave you
Yes, regrettable you can’t admit the same for KH38 MT though. This is a poor job at letting go of biases if i may
Mistral and stingers had primary sources ? There’s no guesstimation anywhere.
We have proof AASM seeker is incorrect and uses LOAL, we have no proof of KH38MT ever existing as a complete weapon system.
The rest is interpretation and double standards
i see, they added it bc they could. It’s just cringe
None explicitly states the G load being average or maximum.
You didn’t read the rest of my post.
ah yes, comparing a different missiles average G load to 20 G for the stinger clearly doesnt confirm that 20 G is the average for the stinger
Nope, my bad
The entire discussion was about MT though, so did not bother checking
or how about the fact that they show the stinger as being able to hit aircraft pulling harder than a missile with 17Gs average pull
You wrote Kh-38 so i though you’re talking about all missile from this family.
Does anyone have the bug report and/or thread for the Hammer seeker on hand?
