Seeker activating at 1.5km away from the target could easily be reproduced by lowering the TRACK lock range to 1.5km.
And completely omit the first phase of the engagement?

Not all is exclusive to RU, but it’s all related to RU
It doesn’t match because it can’t really hit targets in some set scenario. Mistral for example, should hit a target maneuvering 8G. It can in game, but only if your target is nice enough to be slow and going away from you

LOAL isn’t a thing in the game nor is the interaction between GNSS and IR.
Which is why we have POINT tracking for IR missiles and that’s a bandaid for LOAL.
Kind of is on laser guided AASM’s and 38MLs though, isn’t it ?
There’s maybe 100 people that own the IS-7
The reload on the T-10M makes it ineffective, and one shot by heat (thanks to how gaijin places ammo in Soviet tanks aka everywhere) means you get 1 tapped all the time.
Also your sleeping on the A-2D, and the M60a2 my guy.

Aircraft can provide laser guidance to the missile, meanwhile IR missiles are on their own.
POINT tracking is the very simplified solution to LOAL for IR missiles.
