Oh hey Beaker - back from the RU Forums again. We always have a place for you here if you’d stop running around.
Well, bug reports generally tend to go two ways:
- is it Western? no amount of sources works, i.e: Leopard 2A7V having the armor of a pre-prototype? “Not a bug, but you can’t use Swedish Trials because the tank is too new”, and “You can’t use new sources because they don’t have any nubmers”, so we end up with a tank with maybeee 50% of its actual armor.
- is it Eastern? yes, but unless it’s a MiG-29, it will be given every possible handout, along with plates that catch spall, but don’t spall themselves.
RU forum made a bug report about how BMPT ammo chutes explode A DAY before the patch dropped, it was pushed ahead by a Russian tech-mod, and fixed on release day lol, and now we’re dealing with an AFV that is basically invincible hull-down.
Meanwhile, the CR 2 re-work made it straight up worse, even though the reports the re-work was apparently based on, would’ve made it vastly better. Every patch the CR 2s mobility just keeps getting worse, somehow.
We’ve had very well sources reports be labelled as “Not a bug” because of inability of people like Ralin/TrickZZter/a few others (the general trend seem to be they all are usually Russian, or at least originate from the Russian forum, because Western ones tend to be far more impartial, especially ones like Gunjob), to accept that Western vehicles/technology can in fact be vastly superior to Russian one.
Bonus points: Chinese tech is treated basically the same as Western one by them. Hence why ZTZs and VT-4s perform the way they perform, and why China needed an Abrams to actually be decent.

Oh really ? How about Su-27 ? Like literally when Su-27 had really wierd flight model and dozen of report with Su-27SK manual got hit with “Marketing lie” players acually had to find Developers source by numbers and prove it was wrong.
Just like F-15E getting better engines and fantasy flight model right before the release.
Oh damn like there was no Rafale buff.

Just like the Su-30SM2, with its AL-41s and Irbis-E huh?
Should I mention how basically every high-tier RU jet is also getting Kh-38MX’s despite only Su-25SM3 and Su-34 being actually certified and capable of using them?
Or maybe how the Kh-38MT doesn’t even exist aside from a demo-model?
Maybe even, the LMUR being the only F&F with proper LOFTing?
On top of SM-SV getting fantasy missile behavior, while not a single Western SAM actually performs the way they should?
How about Kornets being beefed up to 1200mm of penetration, when RU sources state 960mm?
Oh damn like there was no Rafale buff.
Y’all cried the R-77-1 out of it, and it actually made all the jets that have it, better.

All this argument was about Bug report system and F-15E still has better engine despite you saying that no amout of sources will work and as you confirmed Su-27, EFT, Rafale has gone same amout of bullcrap to make change.
LMUR or Kh-38 or Su-30SM2 has nothing to do with our subject since devs added them as they intendet to be, they didn’t change it like with Su-27.
The better engine of the F-15E has existed for about 30 years now, so why wouldn’t the F-15E have it?
Also it really wasn’t bug reports that changed the F-15E engine situation, it was just classic community complaints and “outrage”.
The thrust was nerfed, and Gaijin increased the drag, after the community threw a fit. Su-30SM2 still has AL-41s and Irbis, however. It’s not even like the engines were “fantasy” for the F-15E either, they were added in in a later production batch.
Su-27, EFT, Rafale
Here’s the difference:
- Su-27; eventually fixed (i.e it received a genuinelly substantial buff, even if some people still think it should do better in sustained turns)
- EFT; actually nerfed, where the “We believe this is a marketing lie” originated from - we needed the AESA version, because Gaijin was refusing to fix the M-Scan
- Rafale; the only one that was somewhat corrected
Between these 3, only 1 of them was ever really “fixed”, one was only made slightly more OP that it already was (Rafale), and one was never fixed, despite the same amount of effort being put into its bug-reports.
And following that, Gaijin started to pamper to basically only one of them; who started receiving more and more powerful version(s) of the initial jet, culminating in the Su-30SM2 which dominates ARB today, and Gaijin doesn’t care to do anything about it, but hey, they added the AIM-120"““D””", ignore that it’s the same as 120A basically.

So there is no line in between west and east and Captor-M getting same treatment as MiG-29.
I wouldnt say they dominating Rafale is still one of the best despite some minor nerf and situation isn’t that drastic like when Su-27SM and F-15C was the top tier.
Can I have some of those good russian teams? Because right now I seem to always get losing teams at 13.0…

Fortunately I think hes only a game mod and can’t actually influence balance/game decisions iirc? Correct me if im wrong.
He’s a Tech Mod on the RU forums and has on occasion weighed into debates alongside the original Mr ‘Not a Bug’ themselves.
As was the case with the Chinese ‘tech consultant’ a while ago, one or two bad actors can have a negative impact. Especially given the Russian connection - e.g. you’ve got Russian tech mods talking to Russian devs so you haven’t got anything in the way of language barrier.*
*Not being sarky in this instance. If you have two people giving you directions on the best way to get to to the Train Station - are you not going to be inclined to listen to the one who is fluent in your native language rather than one who isn’t?
Particularly if they are telling you want you want to hear…
