Even with all the nerfs, the 2A7 specifically is still an hilariously easy tank to play.
It’s almost impressive that people manage to go negative in it.

Insert Superior German Engineering.
I mean if you are a mechanic looking at an audi engine
Those are highly sophisticated and well engineered engines which require certain amount of knowledge and sensivity.
casually roll into a normal shop for lower fee which also unlikely
I wasn’t the one who brought up experience anyways, I just pointed out that the person bringing it up (here) wasn’t even qualified by their own logic.
also is that an ai image lol
Yeah it’s not exclusive but it just so happens that Russian stuff has the most of these types of features and players experience the ost frustration dealing with Russian especially t series tanks. It’s really not hard to grasp.
Well it isnt really that hard to grasp that that structural armour under a certain thickness doesnt generate spall… which is the point that i was adressing when he asked “why no spalling after penetration?”.
CR2 is slower to peek is more televised, it has got a little better with the buffs.
The top of the turret roof is a one hit kill and the TOGs system hit will most of the time take out the gun/breach.
CR2 is not hard to kill hull down.
But it will reverse to safety faster due to better reverse speed.
Same goes for t80 but it has lower chance to survive due to having less crew. Plus if we talk about c2bn (same br as bvm), c2bn has aps which can intercept apfsds. So c2bn will be saved multiple times while t80 will have to receive every shot.
Neither is t80.
I disagree a CR2 is one if not the easiest tank to kill hull down. The turret roof is angled and will catch a dart, T-80BVM turret roof will not it will bounce off it.
Yes you can reverse down the hill faster, while you at best have a damaged breach but likely have 2 dead crew and a breach to repair.
T-80 BVM has smaller weak spots on the turret face and a stronger barrel/breach assembly with breach shots from L27A1 maybe you disable the breach likely you dont. Any penetrating rounds spall is unlikely to kill any crew members and allow the T-80 BVM to repair a damaged breach.
No CR2 BN has APS standard CR2 and E model do not and on most matches the CR2 BN APS will save you from an ATGM not a dart unless you get a large enough map.
Name me on spot of a hull down t80 that pens 100% without being pixel perfect
Just had a game and a T-80U turret took more shots to kill than a 2A6…
Turret roof, breech
It rarely bounces off if you hit actual t80 roof, not relikt covered part.
T80 will also be left with 2 crew left. Or even 1 with bad luck.
How do you determine this? They seem equally easy to breech for me.
Spall is reduced by new module around breech. Idk if c2 gets it but I know that t series, m1 and leo2 do get them. Also I disagree with your statement, breeching often kills one crew, other can be killed through roof.
This one should get lower br then.
It can intercept sabots on almost every map which isnt “cqc cs cod rat combat corner camping”. Hence why its one of if not best hull down choices at top tier.
most maps are CQC now, gaijin actively promotes this which they have stated in their last Q&A
If it’s a T-80B: Turret.
If it’s a T-80U: Anywhere near the breech if firing a round about as good as 3BM60.
If firing DM53, M338, M829A1, Type 10… more locations.
@MiGoon_Fox-3
Gaijin has never once stated they promote close quarters.
They said players prefer close quarters, which makes sense becuase close quarters eliminates front armor bias in most situations.
BVM/80U gunner optic shot even with L27A1 is likrly to take out 1 crew + FCS + breach + possibly autoloader and it’s not a hard shot to hit.
How pave way kill pansir, pls elaborate (I’d very much like to learn as a brit main that has no idea)
Simply untrue.
Can’t recall how many times I’ve penetrated roofs of T-tanks and did a lot of damage.
