I don’t struggle in them, I just hate playing them.
I can do everything a T-series can in my Abrams/Merkava/Leclerc/Leo 2 and much much more. The T-series are just so damn limiting to play, I hate how limiting the T-90M is especially.
You’re working on the assumption the enemy is skilled, to counter a skilless tactic. A good player playing the 80BVM can be just as if not effective (seriously, try fighting one of those things hulldown at a distance. Especially if they shift around a lot.)
Drop any arguments of “well if you were better…”, that’s irrelevant to the vehicle’s performance. I can just as easily claim the 2A7 is bad because some moron of a player could drive it full speed into the open and die, except the players who do well don’t do that. None of this is to say I don’t do fine against T-80s (They are often perfectly okay to fight) but I can recognise that those players are using the vehicle idiotically, and that is why they lost the fight. Often if the 80BVM player even slightly tries instead of rushing into the open as they so often do, they automatically win the fight.
On an objective scale, the 80BVM is superior because it is effective when applying absolutely zero effort into the game, and only becomes more effective as you actually try, whereas western vehicles bar 2A7/122B need a baseline skill level to be effective, and lag behind across that entire curve as a result.

Same view, different reasons. I find the 80BVM’s mindless gameplay drags the skill out of the game and I don’t get any reward if i’m not trying.

The T-80BVM is one of the easiest tanks at top tier to kill hull down lmao, only the Leclercs and Arietes beat it for that title.

It’s a 10.7 T-80B turret scarcely covered by some ERA. It’s almost a free kill hull down.
I have more matches in the 80BVM than you have in the 90M and 80BVM combined. What is your point here?

Devs artificially buff their stuff, or nerf-to-the-ground NATO stuff (as shown in last video).
Ridiculous to even discuss if Russia dominates top tier or not. Just play 30 games at 12.7-13.00 GRB against Russia and see by yourselves how often you win.

That aside, no I was not saying to listen to players with more experience. I was in fact specifically saying to ignore player skill and focus on the objective matter of the vehicle itself. Once player skill comes into the argument it is entirely subjective and usually just a matter of time before it devolves into a bunch of “but I have every techtree” elitists throwing insults in eachothers’ general directions.
I have more games in the BVM than you have with the entire nation, T80BVM is good, but nothing special.
And your claims about it beeing the hulldown-chad are hillarious. BVM is very easy to disable through the roof.

Also T90M is one of the worst top tier tanks there is.
I even replaced it for the Sprut, because it just has nothing going for it except armor, which gets neglected by anyone who is playing this game for more than 3 days.

I do still want to add btw that I don’t consider the T-series really bad at top tier (okay besides the T-72B3A, that thing is just sad at 12.3).
They are at worst mid/nothing special (again, besides the T-72B3A). I just hate that some people (not targeted towards you, we all know who I’m talking about) keep overhyping the crap out of them.
Don’t even try arguing with these people. I’ve been wasting months of my life arguing with them.
You tell them them the SM-SV and S1 are the best top tier SPAAs, they will tell you gnn gnn no they’re not gnn gnn. You tell them BMPT is completely op and broken, they will tell you it’s not. You tell them Russia has the best CAS → “gnn gnn jagms are good you just nab gnn gnn”. About IFVs “you just have to know how to use bushmaster autocannons, you nab. Also, spikes/MMPs are not broken. Russia doesn’t have the best IFVs you’re lying”. Finaly about MBTs “no it’s not true, they don’t eat DARTs on purpose in order to shadow nerf NATO stuff”.
You can’t win with these people, they just want to be right lmao.
