You need evidence of a plane mounting a certain weapon to have it in the game.
It being a prototype or not shouldn’t matter one bit.
No it’s not as WT assumes everything is working in best circumstances.
Crews don’t get tired, driving on harsh terrain while going fast doesn’t matter, engines always produce maximum specified power, armor is always made up to specified standard without any production mistakes, etc.
They also like to withhold ammunition from vehicles for balancing.
MICA was already arguably the best ARH in the game but it still received the seeker buff, all the while other ARHs are stuck with generic one that is shared by all other missiles.
Hammer’s IR seeker is also ridiculously overperforming which has been reported but Gaijin isn’t acting upon that.
It’s a good thing this is all found on a FR vehicle, as if it was on a RU one I believe some might be going on a hunger strike lmao.
Rafale was the 3rd most played 14.3 with around 970k matches as of August 2025, right behind german eurofighter with 1.07 mil and su30 with 1.5 mil games played
Thats why i said yet, its steadily rising and especially with the Mirage F1C-200 getting more and more games top tier will soon be unplayable. And France has still a lot less players than the big 3
This has been a thing for a few months now, I bought myself a F1C-200 early this year with discounts and every match was just that jet. After Hornet Sting even more people got themself one, and teams were already starting to have 4 or even 5 rafales, we are already at the point where rafales teams are a thing, and the next update discounts will be the same.
No surprise tho tbh, ofc everyone will want to grind a jet that performs as good as the Rafale.
Yeah thats what i mean. At some point all of these Mirages will be a Rafale and correct me if im wrong but France cant fight France rn in air rb so it will be just be France curbstomping everyone.
@_Renzo
Yep they should have left it that way but no idea why the Rafale gets so much love
That’s not fair for production vehicles and is a clear double standard.
It’s no one’s fault that vehicle was only ever a prototype and thus shouldn’t get any preferential treatment.
That is compromising the vehicle.
You’re reducing their capabilities to the level of other vehicles found at similar BRs. I don’t want to play copy paste vehicles with different skins, and I doubt neither do you considering your comment few replies back:
Completely ignoring a weapons real life capabilities to bring it on the same level as a corresponding weapon from another tree completely undermines the spirit of the game. If they do that then why dont we all just play the same vehicles with different skins? That would be a super balanced and fair experience but its hardly what we want, is it?
Rafale has ~70% of games of German EFT and both were added at the same time.
For contrast, 122A/PLSS which are extremely good tanks were added half a year before the BVM, but they only have a fraction of BVM’s games.
It’s hard to powercreep Rafale unless you add IIR missiles which aren’t coming soon.
France is also next in line to get a rank 8 premium, like some other countries. Seeing how well the F1C is selling, I have no doubt the new premium will too.
Spanish F18 for France to complete the copy and paste slop? /s
Kuwaitian F18 for Israel and Malaysian for Japan and we can all channel our inner Maverick on the commies.
2A4 can use DM33 but it doesn’t.
M1 Abrams can use M900 but it doesn’t.
Just a few examples of Gaijin reducing vehicle’s capabilities for balance.
Even with that, Rafale has almost the same amount of games as certain 122s despite latter ones being years older. Ground is also played more than Air on average.
