That’s just a fundamental mindset of the player-base from a time before the 2023 economy changes that’s going to be hard if not impossible to fix. Battle time actually gives you the majority amount of RP and SL so staying in and respawning actually makes it easier to progress, even for the one vehicle that you want to focus on because if you respawn you have a higher chance of getting the multi-kill RP boosts (3, 6, 9). Staying in and fighting also increases your chances of winning and getting the victory -based rewards. Also spading gives nice chunk RP rewards so another progression booster for playing multiple tanks. Backups are easier to get these days as well if you still really only want to play one tank.
How about they make the game fun instead?
When most of the game becomes a grind then you stop playing because you enjoy the game and more so because you just wanna unlock a better tank or have your crew not be awful in everything they do, which takes forever unless you’re willing to pay real money.
Based on all the things you said desire out of the game/want the game to be I have reason to believe you haven’t been playing like how I laid out in the last post, which is literally how you make the grind easier if not barely a grind at all (again not true before 2023 but it is now). When you load up your next match, put just a little more effort into where your going and where you’re looking/aiming at any point in time and you’ll be surprised how far it goes. Saying things like “the game isn’t fun” as your penultimate conclusion and ofc everyone is just gonna say you have a skill issue (which I don’t think is true I think you just expect the game to be a cakewalk that doesn’t reward time spent actually learning and thinking about gameplay, which if you were to won’t be any extra time on your part it’ll just change how you currently spend your time on the game [spoiler: it’ll make it more efficient]). Peace out.
you have to realize most average war thunder player are terrible, so they would go in forum and rant skill issue
Making the grind “easier” doesn’t make the game flow better. It seems like you’re just throwing anything out there to excuse how the game encourages you to play scummy and make the experience worse for everyone involved in a match. There’s no real point in having a lineup when you don’t know what the enemy team is gonna be using, so you’re gonna end up going in blind with a tank that might not be useful that round or will only be useful once you lost it. Sure you can get the item to respawn using it again but you’ve already lost 1 life and won’t be able to use anything else you have as a result. Realism is different with the point system but that’s also just as bad and a whole other can of worms of issues.
Anyone saying skill issue often just out themselves as sweats and immature man children. It’s the same reasoning people used when it came to the problems Dark Souls 1 and 3 had compared to the other games and even stuff related to Armored Core. They think they’re better for hitting their ankles with hammers and then doing a 100 mile run.
The game wants you to play dirty, it wants you to spend money to bypass bad game design. Gaijin is only interested in seeing how much their playerbase can suffer before either spending money or not.
Ok, I got it. Let’s ask Gaijin to add a NATO vs. China & Russia (and their respective allies)
Ok I meant for the last one to be my last response but I guess not. A lineup literally helps solve the very issue your saying it doesn’t. Having multiple different types of vehicles that can deal with different threats doesn’t help against a variety of different unknown threats??? Like this is completely illogical. There’s no such thing as a tank being useful for one one round, especially when you go up in BR and you get closer and closer to the MBT philosophy of tank design (In the US I’d argue you reach an all-capable style of tank as early as 8.0) But even without that you can make almost any tank work in any match.
“Sure you can get the item to respawn using it again but you’ve already lost 1 life and won’t be able to use anything else you have as a result” Also this, you were just complaining about being forced to play other tanks in a certain rank and now you’re complaining about not having that option in-match???
Again you comment on RB being a can of worms but again you have 300 something battles in it so…
I guess I was feeling talkative today lol
Because not every tank is gonna be useful for each round depending on what the enemy is using or the map itself making it very hard to use some tanks.
Also “you were just complaining about being forced to play other tanks in a certain rank”
When did I ever say this? My issue is the length of grind you have to do to unlock them and then pay SL for, most of which you’re likely never going to play for a while unless you’re really interested in playing that tier again.
It is very good and hard to kill with most of my experiences being killed by the last launcher as you can only really Brimstone 2 of them in a single pass
just a heads up when arguing with these guy
You’re extrapolating your own likings onto how the game is played/enjoyed by most. I’d bet that the majority do like spading their vehicles and at least half return to old lineups just for some fun. Maybe my bet is wrong but I do think its got better odds than “most of which you’re likely never going to play for a while” being the case for most of the player base. The game is not a cakewalk unless you make it so, and once again I have reasons (thinking you can only succeed with one type of vehicle against a certain enemy/map, not believing in the power of lineups) to believe your perception of the length of the grind is due in large part to how you are approaching each match.
It doesn’t matter how you approach a match since as a non-premium player the game restricts how much you actually earn from a match. I can do super well and have how much I actually earned be withheld and flaunted in front of me unless I spend a ton of money for it.
How much RP do you usually make a match?
4 to 6k, which gets shrunk down to 3 to 2k.
Well I make 6k post-“shrink down?” regularly as a non-premium player, not to mention the occasional game where its 8-9k. How many kills/assists a game?
9 during a good match with 5-6 assists; Okay matches being 5 kills and 7 assists.
Cool, but that’s not what I’m getting regardless.
