is there a thread about it? I want to educate
There is in one of the many Mi 28 LMUR threads
im struggling to find such manuals, tho ill try some more
There was an image taken from one in Cyrilic
Sucks that trying to search anything on the forum using a phone
It can’t use ATGM on inner side pylon. There is no wiring for it.
Only Ka-52M can use LMUR on inner side, but only x1 on pylon.
well there are photos of it having different ATGMs or Air-to-air missiles on inner ones. Tho they may not be a battle photoes, rather than again Army Expo ones
Air to air ≠ ATGM.
Does that require something special on the pylon?
Different wiring.
On expo any weapon can be attached on any pylon – it’s simple demonstration. This doesn’t mean that Mi-28NM can use that configuration.
huh, now im even more interested.
While i do agree, they not only winged it, but said it can use them. At least to the news outlet.
Rafale F3 with additional pylon from R4.
Su-27/30 with double R-77 pylon from Su-35 (which cannot be installed on 27/30).
Gaijin do that they want.
They also tried to limit JAGM to 8
Technically speaking additional pylons tested on F3 airframe so its more real than double pylons on Su-27SM/30SM.
I still have to find a really great ground vehicle that’s allegedly grossly undertiered to perform like crap though.
Source: Trust me bro
Source: brochure and booklets.
Show me video/photo there’s Mi-28NM use 8 LMUR in combat configuration.
There are no public photos or information of Mi-28NM loading 8x LMUR air-to-ground missiles. The closest for that number is 4x ordinances in total loaded into double pylons (1 and 4). In furthermore Ka-52M can also only load up to 4x ordinances in total distributed in one missile per pylon usually 2, 3, 4 and 5 while the 6th is reserved for the AS-BPLA which is required for the missile-helicopter data link such like recieving images from the ordinance camera.
as i read, the army expo 2022 info claimed the abilit of 8 LMUR being loaded. Im not sure if its true, but i found that one
There are a photos, but it’s taken on expo.
