I definitely think the spaa are the worst offenders around there. Bmd-4s aren’t all that annoying imo. But a good BMP-3 player in a hull down position can be.
I remember a time when the Is-2 could be .50 cal’d in the front due to a bug. Took them 3 weeks to fix it.
I think I saw it occur on some Challies and abrams mostly.
I always blame Gaijin for those bugs,however at the same time i do understand that its hard to improve stuff on a 13 year old engine with over 300 vehicles to take into consideration

I’ve seen footage of it, but it’s certainly wasn’t common even before the proliferation of drones. Riding on bmps however seemed to be the norm.
Riding on btrs is a norm, merely due to where the side doors are, and low armor. Might as well be able to jump off quick.
I think they fixed those issues with the new btr tho
