The reason people claim it doesn’t exist is because there is very little to say it does, if I were claiming a widely used combat ready missile like AGM-65 didn’t exist then I would have to provide substantial evidence and reasoning, here though I need very little to deduct that the KH-38MT isn’t real
Because you are making the claim the weapon exists when all the evidence points to it not existing.
You can prove a positive, can’t prove the negative so logically the burden of proof falls on you.

You think they took a very valuable seeker, and installed it on a mockup? IR seekers for missiles in that class are very expensive. Infact, thats probably the reason it never left the mockup stage in the first place.
Again, why? Why not just use the mockup they already have?

Well because at that time they were thought to be permanent to fill a gap. The kh38mt was added in a time where fake stuff already got removed for being fake. That’s the difference between the Japanese/german stuff and the kh38mt. The only thing that might be similar is the F16AJ but even that one predates the subtree that would have offered a real alternative

Usually they want unclassified documents to prove how they work actually,so no,a picture wont work at all
