Winrate is too heavily influenced by flavour of the month, and is too dependent on team skill to make a conclusive decision on what is better performing.

Still doesn’t change the fact that Sweden and Germany have the best MBTs at the moment tho.

Winrate isn’t decided merely on KDr, as I explained earlier on how Russian KDr was lower with higher wr.

It’s likely the ground forces are doing the leg work while the combined arms (aka the heli) provides support.

  1. If nato players respawned instead of 1 lifting every match maybe the stats would change. Problem is the only one life and don’t spawn spaa leaving the air uncontested. When I flew my Mi-28NM, I only was harassed by an Adats. And a F-15, and F-16 which were very blind.

  2. The other helicopters have a lower wr, but very close KDr. That tells us they are all quite effective and perform similarly.

Absolutely correct. Similarly, I wouldn’t be surprised if certain NATO planes have crazy inflated ground kills in stats sharks because they can farm ground targets in air RB with the GBU-39. Easy way to grind the plane once you unlock them, and they’re usually on the first modification line.

I have to simply believe that you haven’t, as there is absolutely no way you have played a reliable sample of games and come to the conclusion that the Mi-28 is in any way equal to any other nations’ helicopter.

These things are a swarm every single game, firing off LMUR’s from the helipad then immediately landing to rearm, rinse and repeat. They are immune to CAP and SPAA. They add absolutely no gameplay value. I am a CAS advocate, but the the Mi-28 is ridiculous and its dominance should be stamped out(but it’s Russian, so we’ll have to wait at least a year before a balance issue is addressed).

it is not, as you have show earlier by looking at russian tank stats

so it is clearly the overpreforming CAS contributing to the winrate, which is very obvious due to MI28NM having a higher winrate than any other high tier russian vehicle

maybe thats because there is literally nothing they can do to counter you

I do agree they should fix the Ldircm of all those helis, but I must add in the 20ish games I played as USA with China / Russia on the opposing team I only saw 1 Mi-28nm.

Weird cuz Su-30/34 aren’t doing very well.

GOOD, helis shouldn’t be free kills to CAP. Where as CAP has an AF to protect, helis have themselves and that’s all.

you mean I posted pictures of the following: every tank winrate by BR and Nation, the highest winrate top tier MBT, and the highest winrate heli in the game

Can you genuinely not see that the Mi-28 has a much better K/S and K/D than any other heli?

Russian MBTs are fine, their helis are OP (every other one is, but the Mig-28 is more so), and they are tied for best CAS in the game. Their SPAA is also decent from what I’ve seen, especially compared to what other nations are stuck with.

I have a few solutions:

  1. Nerf LDIRCM
  2. Nerf CAS in general (move the airfields back and force an airfield spawn point. Guided weapons should also cost more, and A2A missiles should cost nothing.
  3. Fix the underperforming AA that nations like China or Israel are stuck with.
  4. Decompress CAS up to 14.0.

Man just let them cry harder at this point because these folks are the type that thinks:

Buy high tier premiums = you are master skilled player approved by gordon ramsey…

Gaijin made low-mid tier russian tanks trash like IS-6 and these folks never give a damn about jagdtiger being impossible to pen at front, somewhat at sides, and have outrageous gun armor somehow bunch of players lacks skills to use it even…

You know it had a “hidden” extra 200mm plate in the turret when it was added, and they arbitrarily nerfed HESH the same update it was added to remove basically the only shells that could reliably deal with it at the time.

like actually how do you get sub 0.5kd in something like that, its not like you had to stock grind it

To kinda ask ,the main problems are basically unreliable/not exact stats given to us through stat shark (Basically leaving us guessing what truly effects matches and a vehicles stats), Matches being heavily influenced by flavor of the month, and having a “Balancing” system that’s a mix of personal opinions, guess work, and not having enough wiggle room to be truly balancing. right?

So the questions are, What are definitive ways we can see actual stats between vehicles?
What can we do to dampen/ remove flavor of the month so certain nations aren’t constantly steam rolled when updates appear?

and what can we do to improve balancing? (decompression sense we all know that answer. Probably up to 15-18.0 so lower br’s can be decompressed)

The best way would be to directly compare performance would be Cumulative Distribution Functions of the relevant stat, and judge by the shape of the curve.

It would be pretty easy for Stat Shark to implement.
