Seeker activating at 1.5km away from the target could easily be reproduced by lowering the TRACK lock range to 1.5km.
And completely omit the first phase of the engagement?
You mean flying straight towards predetermined place ?
They exist but not on between the engines.
Should actually be the most inner Wing pylons.
Basically su27SM should actually have the same or similar pylons layout as su33
predictible
Spoiler
Not all is exclusive to RU, but it’s all related to RU
It doesn’t match because it can’t really hit targets in some set scenario. Mistral for example, should hit a target maneuvering 8G. It can in game, but only if your target is nice enough to be slow and going away from you
I don’t need sources. Asking someone to prove something doesn’t exist is a fallacy
I can say i have a Mach 10 hypersonic anti-everything missile in my garage.
Can you prove it does not exist ?
No ? Then Gaijin when ?
Not it’s not about it, even if you insist on turning a blind eye to what doesn’t suit you.
Yeah that part
LOAL isn’t a thing in the game nor is the interaction between GNSS and IR.
Which is why we have POINT tracking for IR missiles and that’s a bandaid for LOAL.
Kind of is on laser guided AASM’s and 38MLs though, isn’t it ?
There’s maybe 100 people that own the IS-7
The reload on the T-10M makes it ineffective, and one shot by heat (thanks to how gaijin places ammo in Soviet tanks aka everywhere) means you get 1 tapped all the time.
Also your sleeping on the A-2D, and the M60a2 my guy.

It isn’t in this case.
Projects are getting cancelled as we speak, it’s nothing out of the ordinary.

When you provide mockups/prototypes and sales brochures ?

It pretty much is.
LOAL isn’t a thing in the game nor is the interaction between GNSS and IR.

So its a bandaid solution by gaijin, because the real functionality is not in the game?
So i was right with my inital question then?
Aircraft can provide laser guidance to the missile, meanwhile IR missiles are on their own.
POINT tracking is the very simplified solution to LOAL for IR missiles.
IR Hammer isn’t the only thing that uses LOAL, so I don’t see why it wouldn’t get it’s seeker nerfed if it’s literally proven it’s highly overperforming.
Bandaid has already been provided by POINT tracking.
I agree, if the Brimstone gets laser guidance because Gaijin doesnt want to add LOAL the AASM should also get only Laser guidance.
However comparing the bandaid fix for the Hammer thats only based in Gaijin laziness to a fake seeker that might not even be able to be used by the SU30 is quite far fetched
you can shoot a laser missile through GPS and make it acquire later. LOAL doesn’t exist for IR missiles yes, but it kind of exist in game for laser weaponry at least
In any case, LOAL Hammer wouldn’t be needed if KH was removed
Projects are getting cancelled as we speak, it’s nothing out of the ordinary.
Projects cancelled yes, so no missile ? Usually the project phase occurs before the object of said project is ready to be deployed / produced
Or maybe time is reversed in Russia ?
When you provide mockups/prototypes and sales brochures ?
You don’t fire a missile with pretty models and sale brochures, if i may
But even I could provide a model and a brochure with enough time and some determination lmao.
As for prototypes, i think you are getting carried away, we have no proof of a prototype ever existing, and no documentation on it being fired in any test
I agree, if the Brimstone gets laser guidance because Gaijin doesnt want to add LOAL the AASM should also get only Laser guidance.
Gaijin implements LOAL with POINT tracking, the problem with Brimstones is the radar seeker which isn’t something we have in the game.
However comparing the bandaid fix for the Hammer thats only based in Gaijin laziness
This isn’t bandaid fix, POINT tracking is. The fact you can get a POINT track 20-30-40km away is a clear sign of that, as IR seekers don’t activate at those distances and is a half-assed LOAL mechanic.
Even with LOAL fully modelled, IR Hammer wouldn’t be able to track anything beyond 1.5km of range, thus lowering it’s effectiveness by a ton.
This is reaching but is7 and pt-76-57 mig-15 bis and mi8
Mig-15 bis decent.
IS-7, and Pt are both very rare.
Mi-8 is a dumpster fire, one hit and your either on fire or cannot fire.
Vs the still super tanky for no reason AH-1G
There’s a common problem with helicopters that if the fuselage takes any sort of damage right now that the guns won’t fire including on ah1g It happened to me last night and I filed a bug report I don’t know if it’s been looked at yet though as I am at work

They still could have implemented the same bandaid fix just with IR guided brimstones but thats not the topic anyway.
POINT tracking is
But point tracking wouldnt allow it to engage tanks at all just well points so that wouldnt be faithful either. So point tracking is not the bandaid its the first part of what we need for LOAL to work
I disagree. There is photos and videos suggesting it’s real, but classified.
