Relikt is literally the best ERA there is afaik in the world? Its speciality is tandem warheads and KE protection…Duplet, was there anything past the testing phases and a brochure?

Duplet uses non-linear shaped charges while relikt uses the older method of linear era. Think of duplet as slicing the rod.
literally is to be fair fighting that in anything that isnt another 10.7 is a nightmare
Hitting the edges of era that uses a linear charge should not have the same effect as shooting at the middle of the ERA
Ngl I wish Gaijin made a feature for the penetration analysis that would allow you to toggle external armor like ERA to see what the difference would be.

It can’t stomp 9.3s anymore. Its balanced now.
it doesn’t have the same effectiveness, but DM53 just does not have enough penetration to penetrate it regardless.
Which wasn’t useful as it literally says it’s the duplet-2M, this is the later version made after the original duplet which has less KE protection.
From what I can find online, BM-Oplot seems to use Duplet-2M.

There are no sources on the effectiveness on ERA on the edges, only simulations can somewhat predict that. I will try to see if someone made one for edges.
Nope, Relikt relies on 2 plates going opposite direction when detonated and thus using the shearing force to destroy the projectile. Pretty much like duplet but with “magic” of physics rather than physically hitting the incoming projectile

The Oplot-T was delivered to thailand before the duplet-2m was made.
It’s 2 flat plats, it’s still linear. Duplet uses crescent shaped charges to slice the rod which was made because it’s more effective.
