Why are you aiming for weakspots, shoot lower front plate. It’s guaranteed an instant kill.
Except that it isn’t and more frequently than not, the round will pass harmlessly through the autoloader despite the presence of propellant cases being hit, giving the T-series a free return shot.
Thats not my experience.

You all discussing weak spots. And this is ridiculous. Because in most cases tanks shot from afar. And here lies the problem - in most cases any Ru tanks are dead no matter where it was hit.Just bam and it’s dead (and I;m talking about 90M and BVM). What’s more ridiculous about western tanks is that they somehow can survive being shot from sides, from behind. It should be instakill, especially from behind but somehow “oh, we have engine fire”. And Ru tank “shot to the track, you dead”. I once shot leo from all sides and it just kept being alive no matter where to shoot, sure it was penetrated and that’s it. Took me 7 hit to finish it - it’s freacking ridiculous. And don’t tell me about lower front plate of Ru tanks - how is that weak spot???

Also don’t tell me about gun integrity - this mechancs should be removed to the hell of it. Hit from afar - oh, you have no gun. As opposed to “you need to hit barrel directly to disable western tanks gun”. WTF?

Firstly western tanks like Abrams Leo etc. are larger and have more space on the inside which is why they can survive being shot in the side compared to Russian tanks where they’re packed closely ontop of ammo. 2. not sure why it took 7 shots to kill a leo as one well placed shot on the front left of the hull (their right) will insta kill it unless its a 2a7.

was you checking the XRAY damage camera? maybe you was shooting to an already dead zone of crewmates. checking the xray camera is important to see which crew member is alive or where the ammo is, then aim for it.
I play Russia and don’t agree with him I survive tons of shit in RU tanks.
However no one but Leo’s are so hit or miss about damage. I side shot anyone, they’re dead or disabled and, Most times this holds true. Leo’s are the only ones that ever seem to take a shot to the side, disable neither the breech nor the turret ring. Kill a member or 2 and and he just turns to you and shoots you.
It’s my anecdotal experience but no tank from a4 up gives me this experience except the Leo’s

I’m someone who knows about the Abrams. The Abrams does have DU inserts/heavily upgraded composites all over the front of the vehicle minus the ufp. it has been like that since the M1A1HA from the 80s. Gaijin could not give any the M1A1, IPM1, and the M1 DU inserts but it doesn’t give it to any Abrams in game. The M1A1HC, A2, Sep, and Sepv2 in game can be easily penetrated by mango or 3bm42. in real life this is absolutely not possible to do anywhere and yet it can happen easily in game. Gaijin is flat out wrong here. They will not add the first, second or even third gen DU inserts to American tanks because their armor frontally will be immune to every shell even the lower glacis since there are no M1A1HAs with first gen DU inserts. and the russian tanks getting spall liners while the MBTs from the richest country in the world do not is pure russian bias

How long have you played for Russian top tier ground battles private? Bro probably doesn’t know how to play realistic battles. I personally hate arcade battles because it takes out the fun. Also sim battles are probably the best game mode tbh
The base M1A1 and M1, and the IPM1 don’t have DU armor. The M1A1HA, HA+, SA, M1A2, SEP, and SEPv2 do, though. DU hulls also started showing up for the DU-equipped Abrams variants from 2006 onwards, from what I can tell.
The issues with the current DU-equipped Abrams is that they’re literally not based on domestic packages - they’re based on non-DU export packages that were explicitly stated to be worse than the domestic ones. The fact that in the Greek Trials (using a different non-DU armor package) the armor was only second to the Leopard 2 should say how much better the real domestic packages are. The Abrams full-stop should be the most armored tank in the game, Gaijin just doesn’t want to add it for some reason.
That’s what non-DU Abrams’ should look like, with DU-armored Abrams having at least 35% more KE protection.

Sim battles at the moment are completly broken, teams are unbalanced and in top br brackets cas is untouchable. Its really a shame cause SGB have great potential but at the moment they are really not worth playing unless you like sitting in a queue and playing only the side which gets 90% winrate
That’s sounds like a you problem, I’ve been getting the same battle ratings and idc if i get up tiered because it means more silver lions for me
not sure what your deal is lol but any who I play the Abrams all the time, I never said they didn’t have DU upgrades. I was specifically telling the guy it’s not hard to one shot an Abrams or Leo.

Because Nato countries knows how to build tanks and place their crews in them so they dont all die screaming and burning in one shot, unlike russian tanks. Russian tanks are terribly designed and have been for decades. The only reason they perform this well in this game is because gaijin gives them artificial buffs hidden modifiers, and nerfs everyone elses ammo so their crappy ERA some how stops the entire round.
