I feel that the OSA-AK/AKM an Strella-10M/M2 should both be higher in BR. I feel that the Strella-10M/M2 is strong enough to be at least 10.7 if not 11.0 (Yes, it is better than the 2S6.) and the OSA-AK/AKM should very much be 10.7 due to it’s range and how fast it’s missiles are.
I agree with the Strela change, but the OSA is not very threatening .
From the time spent dodging them, i would say they are slightly worse than Rolands. ( With which they share the BR )
The issue with moving the strela up is its short range. Anything that can engage past 5km is immune to it.
Not to mention the lack of search radar.
On the contrary. Ive switched Roland for OSA in my lineup practically instantly because Roland after La Royale is abysmal; its useless against planes and good enough for hitting stationary helicopters. Roland could drop to 10.0 and it would still be mid.
OSA missiles are much better overall, but it has large deadzone due to how launchers are positioned and turret rotates slowly so it struggles to both react to and intercept certain targets.
The Strela started at 9.3 and jumped all the way to 10.3, don’t need to nerf that SAM no more. Will just be as bad as the 11.7br Type 81 C SAM which currently sits in a spot where it can barley reach its targets.
OSA is fine at 10.3, that thing slow in mobility and slow to react to threats. Missile is great though, better than the Rolands.
Strela is pretty much useless against anything that can sling off ordnance past 5km. Planes can also much easier sneak up on it as it doesn’t even have thermals or a radar. Destroying ordnance is also out of the question.
At 10.7/11.0 it would get mauled by IR Mavericks, so demanding a BR increase makes no sense.

-longer range
-Radar
-tracking
-guns
-mobility.
Yep. Both are 10.3, at the same BR where the Rolands are. They are not like the Tunguska but they can both go to 10.7 comfortably

In that case apparently all the OSAs i ran into are complete and utter rocks at playing the game , i have yet to be downed by one.

So the Roland should be buffed or moved down in BR.
Of course CASoids think otherwise as they hate the idea of an effective SPAA (available to both Germany and the UK also).

Leave them where they are. As a British main they’re the only effective SPAA I have to use against the CAS cancer that prevails at this BR.
