How? What’d it hit

If the entire side of the BMPT (shot in different locations every time) is equivelent to the Abrams front turret armor… it needs to be balance ad toned down. SIMPLE AS.
Bad angle the bullet hit the middle of the upper plate’s armour

in the right spot , this is what happens (more or less)
except that isnt a killing shot either and the BMPT would look at you, spray you with 30mm and launch 4 atgms at you and you still die… another moot point from @CofCof.
What am i reading??!!
And before you say “oh but the turret ring got taken out” that happens extremely rarely on the BMPT and i know from experience bc i have one. also you are shooting a tiny pixel of pennable armor. Very cherry picked “perfect shot” that doesnt account for player movement and the BMPT SHOOTING BACK AT YOU.
Why am i even responding, youre really good at ragebait.

Your shot did this, watch the replay
In that case, aim lower to avoid the upper plate
The ammunition exploded on both sides, which is why he died the BMPT has no armour whatsoever around the ammunition or the autoloader
Just leave it, hes not gonna budge…
This is his position:
I didn’t exactly expect an unarmored location to block a shot at less than 80 meters.
Also if you look at the direction the turret is pointing, or the replay this shot happens while I’m being spammed by the 30mm so it’s hard enough to even see properly.
I agree, it’s complicated when that happens, but overall it was a good shot; if it’d been a bit lower, it would have destroyed the tank.
That’s not what I said, and he tried to shoot at a weak spot but just missed , unlike a certain someone. I gave that example because there are people who just want the bullets to hit without really trying to understand how to take out tanks. I used the Abrams as an example because it’s something that happens all the time, and the Abrams in War Thunder doesn’t have DU modelled.
