The Pantsir SM-SV is Simply Too Strong, Russian Bias as Clear as Day

Which would be somewhat okay if they gave literally any context or info about their data, because right now it seems like a tech tree that was not overall struggling in top tier and did not have the worst SPAA got a new SPAA for no reason other than statpadding

I am 100% convinced that they just ignore most of their internal stats unless they can somehow extract money from the performance of a certain vehicles stats

Great performance? Add a premium version
Terrible performance? Add something better that will make people want to grind it

Sadly you’re right. But at the same time I feel gaijin intentionally makes things bad to give them incentives to add more. It’s like the 2s6 (correct me if I’m wrong) they Nerfed it. Then proceeded to implement the pantsir s-1 because they deemed the 2s6 wasn’t good. To then later on buff the pantsir and the 2s6 later on and make them way better than what they were initially. (Radar capability more specifically) gaijin is just doing it again. Saying buk is bad to repeat the cycle.

I bet you didnt turn your maws cms off.
Try it with that off they wont hit you

It doesn’t matter; they could have had their IRCM off, so that test is invalid. Also, 63% is completely made up, he is claiming that IRSI-T will score a hit from 5 out of 8 missiles fired. Anyone who plays SLM will tell you that’s completely false. If that were remotely true, firing 3 missiles would have a 99% chance of taking down a Mi-28NM. It falls apart really quickly, doesn’t it? None of us would be calling DLRICM OP if that were remotely true.

There is no point arguing anymore.

This is the current state of top tier NATO vs Russia (I’ve already shown that over hundreds of games). If you don’t believe me, play 20-30 games in a row and tell us how many you won, strictly against Russia.

It’s a general trend, NATO gets dominated 70%-90% of the games. They don’t care about balancing the game, so nothing will change in GRB.

Bye bye War Thunder for the moment, at least until infantry mode gets released. Who knows, maybe they’ll balance this one.

Yeah this can’t be good for the overall long-term health of the game when they actively refuse to buff NATO equipment but give Russia near perfect implementations of their equipment with each update. How does one even begin to ignore the bias? PARS, Spike, JAGM, Brimstones - all underperforming to an extreme degree as well as with NATO armor. Just make top tier battles mixed, RU vs RU teams would be the only way to make it balanced.

RU vs RU teams

It’s gonna end up like that if they don’t balance the game. Western players won’t be ok to play anymore

You can’t be having fun when your team is getting run over 3/4 of the matches

I’ve already seen a few RU vs RU teams lately, not once have I encountered it. Not when LMUR was added, nor when Kh-38 was added. They are actively killing the game for short term profit. The meta is so defined by Russia that you’d have to be a masochist to play NATO at this point.

With the current trajectory of player distribution mixed battles might be the only way to prevent long queues lol

Oh it is definitely headed that way, just give it more time when they add more T-90M variants and the T-80BVM Obr 2023 lol or when people get fed up with not playing the meta nation. Queue times will be terrible.

Oh boy im so excited for the future update when Gaijin adds the T14 and SU57 so russian can finally be the best at tanks, Air, CAS, SPAA and naval like they deserve to be /s

I played a 16 kill game as Germany at top tier (I had 16 kills), I lost.

:))))

Always fun to play against Russia

I feel like just adding another easy to play premium to their almost top tier line-up would end up causing 95% of all matches to be USSR vs USSR

Something like a BMP-3M with Arena APS or a BMP-2M Berezhok Kurganmashzavod would probably sell a lot

At least both sides can have Kh-38s, LMURs and Pantsirs in such matches lol

edit: designations bruh

I wouldn’t be surprised if this is the plan for the endgame of content for Gaijin, to make all GRB battles mixed in order to not care about balance and add more “broken” additions without having to care about asymmetry.

I don’t think they ever really cared about keeping nations even somewhat balanced

Mixed matches already were the default when I started playing and you can’t really do proper asymmetrical balance without properly seperating them into redfor and blufor

At this point the game would probably be better off without nations, just give everyone a Mi-28MN, a Su-30SM2, a Leopard 2A7, a BMPT and a Pantsir SM-SV lmao
The only thing that would really vary between the meta players are the light vehicles, some may prefer a big gun (Centauro II (P), CV90120), a large autocannon (2S38, HSTV-L) or a medium autocannon with missiles (Jaguar EBRC)

I like how because it only shows the impacting fragments you can actually clearly see the outline of the aircraft in the fragmentation alone

So apparently there’s such thing as a “Russian Bias” tag for threads lol, anyway this one got tagged for it and is now a machinery of war thread if anyone cares.

I would have preferred if this stayed in the general Game Discussion section, as I intended for this thread to be used to discuss not only the new Pantsir, but the balance in relation to top tier CAS and other top tier SPAA as a whole. The Yak-9K APHE thread got to stay in there despite being entirely about a single vehicle’s balance, but alas it is what it is I guess.
