Mr. Anderson, make a choice!
“would be OP” vs actual marketing lie that is OP
Yeah. We have picture of posuble loadouts… But we also have "written sources that claim “up to 8”…
Do they? Genuine question.
The double racks on the EF (In my opinion a great addition) ware only tested as far as im aware and never entered service. And the Rafale F3 in french service don’t carry 8 MICAs… but for the sake of balance in the Iron-dome meta and 16vs16, those are a must.
Yes. Are those an “armor” plates ot part of the module…? Do we know for sure they interract with the post-pen spall? If “yes”… ready the pitchforks…
Whatever.
2000 meters isn’t the longest distance in War Thunder, that and at 2000 meters T-80U & T-90A UFPs are more resistive than people realize.
RD-33 thrust curves got called that, & was denied despite the source being unclassified GDR documents on the Mig-29 9.12.
Documents are treated identically.
1- 2 are OP.
2- Still haven’t seen anyone provide proof LMURs perform that way IRL.
3- Added to the Soviets first.
4- False equivalence, Brimstones are not IR guided. That, and new SPAA was introduced that counters all IR AGM carriers.
5- Countered with ADATS, FlaRakRad, ITO, etc.
6- AMX-13 had it first when first introduced. Leclerc’s are using emergency reload speed currently.
7- AGMs don’t face each other.
8- SPAA countering OP CAS is not bias.
I still remember that Gaijin gelded F&F brimmy when they dropped tonka GR.4
In same update, soviet got Su-34 for additional Kh38 slinger
Seems we are living in legacy MW2 universe :/
??? lol?
Flakrad was countered by Ka-50/52 for a LONG time. The Ka-50 simply had to fire 3 missiles to kill the AA. 2 to intercept the Flakrad missiles and the third one to kill the truck before it could reload.
It took Gaijin YEARS to add limitation to beam riding missiles. ADATS and ITO worked better but it wasn’t super great either.
No we dont, thats the entire point.
Yes they do or do you see AH129Ds with 16 Spikes? Or UHTs with 16 PARS? No you dont, you see them with 12 PARS, because we had to specifically find proof for the smaller 2 PARS launchers so Gaijin would add them to the game 6 years after the UHT got added.
Yes they got tested aka they exist and are technically compatible as Gaijin likes to call it. Thats how every plane in the game operates when it comes to weapons loadout. But again there had to be specific proof for every pylon which is why the EFTs cant carry amraams on their 2 inner wing pylons in game for example.
Well apparently they are. I didnt check myself since im not that good with asset viewer or ansel but its public, recreatable and accessible and so far no one has disproven it.
Yeah whatever.
People exploiting unintended aspects of vehicles doesn’t change the counter state.
Sad people didn’t get temp banned for it, but I don’t think anyone has ever been temp banned for exploiting a broken aspect of any vehicle.
[F-4J & F-4S have full PD radars if you cycle through HMS just right.]
And that’s a rather potent bug that favors F-4J/S, I reported it a month or so back, someone reported something similar a year ago, and neither have gotten accepted yet.
“It’s American so it won’t be nerfed.” - Someone somewhere probably.
This wasn’t an ‘unintended’ aspect. The Vikhr simply had proxy-fuse and could proxy fuse AA missiles. And it took years for Gaijin to put an end to it, no matter what one can say.
Point is, to say the Ka-50/52 were countered by the FlakRad is kind of hilarious when it was the other way around. The Ka-50 was a hard counter to the Flakrad lol.
Even a single ADATS/ITO was countered by a single Ka-50 since the Ka-50 simply had more ammo than the AA and could ripple fire 9 missiles for an assured kill. Ammo boxes weren’t a thing back then.
I see, maybe I may have misheard from somewhere because I seem to remember a greater force was amassed in the North Plains
The first and last time I saw Kamovs do anything serious was in my Type 90s in 2019, maybe 2020.
So clearly SPAA players were doing fine.
That and this was long before helicopter pilots started using terrain masking, or distance extremes.
It was fairly easy to catch helicopters off-guard, especially the no-thermal Ka-50.
Ka-52? Yeah, the thermals made it so it could spot SPAA, and if there weren’t two SPAA shooting at it, it was a stalemate between two stubborn vehicles. The SPAA would go behind rock, the Kamov would drop below trees, and it would go back and forth until one made a mistake or ran out of ammo [which SPAA was more likely to do, to be fair].
Now we’re in agreement. ITO and ADATS had an acceptable annoyance ability against Ka-50/52 but they weren’t reliable to kill them or really counter to the Kamovs. Though it was still better than the meta we have today.
You can simply just swing your missile up and when its close you swing it down at him with ADATS now, easy as that since ADATS missile almost invisible
Bug thunder
That’s… a first.
That probably shouldn’t be a first…
Someone somewhere screwed up a damage model for the first time to that extent.
I thought T-44-100 missing a roof, & Merkava Mk4 LIC & IS-6 having double plates were weird, but that… that’s just confusing.
Which is 9 years old and Gaijin literally told us that its fake and that itll be replaced as soon as they can fill that BR same as the German fake tanks.
Also comparing an allegedly real missile of the 21st century with an obscure WW2 tank really speaks volumes, doesnt it?
Ignoring one claim in favor of othere is the exact saim thing you blaim Gajin for…
Yeah I remmember that… there was photo of an additional double launcher.
In all fairness that only prove that there are plates… In all the conversation (even on reddit) there is no proof of those “plates” even being part of the amor moduls (even the picture say’s “damage modul” and you can see the crew in it). The code can say otherwise, idk.
