Competitive picks in any game are a poor reflection of use for the average player. Even your own stats seem to show that, you have almost a 2kd in many of the top tier russian mbt’s but that same ratio isn’t seen in your leopards, even the 2a7; are you a worse player in the other tanks or does something about them allow you to do much better?
My DM23 was eat by the Kontakt-1 at 90 degree side on, so Russian bias definitely still there
He’s not playing consistently, that’s it.
Cause T-80BVM is not a meta tank.
The only way to have it perform better than other tanks you play is if you play it objectively more efficiently than other tanks.
Not sure what you’re attempting to say here. Would you have preferred that I aimed my shots terribly?
The common argument is that Russian MBT’s are ‘‘Hold W’’ tanks that have their ‘‘invincible’’ armor carry them to victory.
Meanwhile, reality shows that only 10% of shots had their armour play a meaningful role.
I also did not encounter a single case of striking their ammunition and having it fail to detonate. You don’t have to search far to find someone claiming Russian ammuntion doesn’t detonate 50% of the time.
Ive played nothing but russia pretty much for the last year in ground and after finishing top tier germany i was significantly worse than I am now and thought russia was OP so I played them next.
Still not anywhere near pro or high level player, but I am trying to get better so I do have a lot to say on vehicles as I’m always trying to learn more but russian tanks just dont seem to suit the meta for this game, armor is not something you want to invest a lot into.
Idk I think the average player above 10.0 at least knows where to aim, maybe they dont posisition the best or have great map knowledge but its kinda rare to run into people that are gonna job and shoot your ufp or turret face at least in my expierence, majority of shots are gonna be your lfp/breach, or trade lfp for turret ring playing abrams or merkava.
I fail to see what a video from over three years ago has to do with anything I said.
I’m also not going to watch the entire thing, if you feel I need to hear/see a specific portion, feel free to share the timecode.
It’s shared at the time where the action starts. This one just for laughs
Tbf, the problem anymore is less the tanks and more stuff like this
Okay? The T-90M has good protection against shaped charge threats (such as Hydras) due to the double-layered ERA.
I’m once again not certain what you’re trying to say here. Are you implying the T-90M is the best tank ever because it’s well protected against Hydra attack?
I just had a 2S38 fire NINETEEN APFSDS rounds into the side of my M1A2 whilst I was already down to two crew, and I survived anyways. That doesn’t make the M1A2 the best tank of top tier though.
This conversation doesn’t seem to be going anywhere because you’re just throwing videos my way that have no relation to my data set.

Imagine if the XM803 was any top tier tank with APFSDS instead of an XM803 firing a Shillelagh ATGM into the slat armor and engine block of a BVM
probably wouldn’t have made the video
Looks like genuine skill issue to me
I’d probably agree, but then it’s also a skill issue for the LAV-AD guy in the T-90M video to not aim properly either.
@Sternlos unfortunetly you’re useing logic and facts to argue with people that operate by feelings and prejudice. Its pointless. Regardless how much facts you show them, they will never exept it. Even a brick wall i more “reasonable”, compared to some of them.
Everyone is playing Russian instead of other countries therefore the enetire battlefield is bascially only Russian tanks. And in this case it means there are more chance of BUGS that GAIJIN is TOO LAZY TO FIX occured always on the Russian Tank which make people believe it “bias” Because there is only Russian tank to kills always.
As should all the NATO tanks that have NERA blocks. They aren’t modelled correctly. Having Russian add on armour as the only ERA in game that actually works. Could be seen as a favouritism.
CR2 OES and TES could perform similary to the T-90M in terms of armour…But no do that attack with a CR2 and it would have the ammo cooked off…depsite being stored in armoured bins…Yet exposed the carousel and autoloader…The breach was destroyed, turret ring, engine and barrel, but that ammo was untouched.
That simply does not happen with a NATO tank
Surely that gives you a larger data set to compare
what do you mean?
they say an image is worth a thousand words, (I’d love to see someone with mavs do this aka fill the chatlog up entirely with mav kills but then realised they are slower)
