USSR could’ve gotten the Mig-35 with corrected thrust curves and it would’ve been a perfect equivalent to the current top stuff, but there’s a stubbornness with their beliefs about RD-33s let alone RD-33MKs.

People like to blame something else for their shortcomings.
RU was an easy target because it’s generally hated in the west.

Oh if about heli case I’m definitely know what i’m talking about i have both Apache and MI-28 and play them hundreds of times i know how they both performed compared to each other
I do think that in most other cases he would understand it, it’s just that he deluded and self indoctrinated himself so much that at this point it is next to impossible to reaso with him in this topic.
If you ever argue (or watch videos like that) of people debating falt earthers (or any other conspiracy) you will see the exact same behaviour. They most often are not dumb people, it’s just being in a cult.
I know somebody who is an otherwise smart guy but think that the moon landing was faked. in any other topic you can reason with him except this. No matter how many times and how detailed you disprove his claims, at the end “it was faked because it was”.

It is a meme for some (or rather a bunch) of people, but there is also a cult (who are very loud) that think it is real.
In most cases it is actually just cope for them being bad, or doing something stupid. Of course there are also just weird things that happen from time to time, of course they are bias when it is a russian tank but it is not when it’s not a russian tank.
One of the most clear example was on Dollarplays i think.
In one of his vids either he was playing with a Maus or an IS-2, but what happened was that the IS-2 shot the Maus’ turret front, it bounced into the hull and killed the tank.
Guy in the comments call that russian bias.
Then the same youtuber in one of the next vids plays the Ho-Ri and uses the same trick against the Maus, and interestingly the same guy comments on how funny it was when he killed the Maus that way. That of course was not japanese bias…
There are also those that are average/good players that normally dont believe in this bias, but hear it enough times so that they just pay attention to weird things happening with/to russian tanks and discard it when the same happens to other nations.
Effectively the same thing as wehn people say they get a bad match when they activate a 300/500% booster.
Something something because their players are sooooo bad that even with that much bias they cant play well.

People didn’t much care for the German actions in the 1930s either, prior to their actually kicking off the war in 1939. That isn’t controversial. Funny how history does not repeat but it certainly has a way of rhyming.
Now that I think of it, Russia was also in Poland around 1939. Something to do with some Molotov-Ribbentrop pact or some such…
Honestly, it might be a total coincidence that many of the states impacted by those events later leaning Westwards rather than Eastwards the moment political realities changed.
Not oblivious at all - but I don’t think anti-Russian feeling is the cause of people believing there is a bias in War Thunder. The bugs, the incidents and the occurrences fuelled that fire irrespective of RL events.
It probably adds to the perception, but isn’t the cause. It was a concept around quite a way before 2014.

If we suppose that in a 8 team soccer championship the champion team has earned during the championship period 10 fake penalties but the rest of the teams earned only 3 fake penalties each, guess what ?..
- The champion team can claim the excuse that ‘‘ all other teams have earned fake penalties too ’’
- The champion team can present 21 fake penalties occasions of the other teams ( 3 penalties x 7 teams = 21 penalties) against the 10 fake she earned…

As I said, people love to blame something else for their shortcomings and RU was a perfect victim due to the constant propaganda against it.
By far the most cried about bug was the ammo not exploding. Guess what, it happens on all tanks.
People nowadays also like to claim RU is privileged due to “fake” stuff, without even realizing other nations received as much fiction as everyone else.
It’s easy to feel the bias when you fall victim to the confirmation bias due to many things that might or might not be related to the game.

No need for propaganda, RU is plenty capable of drawing everyones ire without that.
Other countries fake stuff is mostly filler that gets removed once its not needed anymore. RU is the only country so far that got fake stuff (or highly dubious stuff) thats a direct upgrade over the real stuff anyone else got.

The problem with this is that we cannot know how many “fake penalties” RU or any other nation got, so creating these comparisons is literally impossible as people can only speak from their own experience and opinions. Unless, of course, you found a way to properly count the number of times something weird happened to vehicles from all nations.
Fake penalties are much easier to notice and have finite number attached to them, unlike “bias moments”.
That is if you assume all penalties give you the same amount of advantage, which of course doesn’t need to happen.
Getting 10 penalties against the worst teams in the league which you don’t need help against might very well be less beneficial than getting 3 penalties against your biggest rivals for the championship. Governing body might also hide their bias towards one of those clubs with only 3 fake penalties by giving that one club 10 fake penalties, but in useless games.
So, having 10 fake penalties in your name doesn’t mean you’re the one here that’s getting biased treatment.
That said, this example is pretty poor at describing bias, so I think you should find something else.

The Soviet tech tree has zero fake vehicles inside it. Soviets never received fake vehicles in the history of War Thunder.
And no, laid down ships aren’t fake unless you’re about to accuse M10 Booker of being fake for consistency, then said claim can at least be consistently incorrect.
Only Germany and Japan obtained fake vehicles out of all the tech trees.

Troubled relations between the west and the east have been pretty much etched in today’s society.
Because of that it’s easy to demonize one side for things you hardly even care about if done by the other side.
38MT was needed to fill the IR AGM gap for RU. Gaijin is also very slow at filling those gaps for other nations, so I find that pretty interesting.
And once again, missiles have no BRs attached so when speaking about upgrades and balance you should look at the whole package.

And like i said no need to look for an explanation in propaganda just history is sufficient.
Adding a fake missile thats just an immense upgrade to everyone elses is not filling a gap its deliberatley skewing the top to one side.
True package matters but the Tornado got the gimped Brimstones despite being a much worse platform than the SU30
Not really sure why you compare a built and tested vehicle to a ship hull without any major components fitted or tested but the Madeupsky Soyuz has been discussed to death anyway
If we look at history then the nations to hate would be much, much different that they are today.
I doubt the missile is fake and as said, missile itself being better doesn’t mean the platform as a whole is.
