Ok so devs are lying about their game.
This will improve the situation on Soviet tanks somewhat, but the number of serious shortcomings is too great.
How so?
All the advantages that Soviet tanks had over the years simply wore off and turned into disadvantages.

Or the fact manually loaded tanks can’t use the turret while reloading and vice versa with only two crew remaining.

This I agree with. Hopefully with the auto loader remodel it will fix the stupid issues like the auto loader being connected to the breech, so suddenly you cannot fire.
Or the fact that some T models has their gunsight linked to barrel, so when the autoloader set the barrel to loading position, gunner loose sight of target.

I think my example would have a much more negative effect to affected vehicles than yours.
Just imagine losing two crew and then having to wait several seconds for the gunner to switch seats to the loader’s position and only then the reload can be initiated. After that you’ll have to wait for several seconds again for the crew to switch seats before being able to move the turret and fire.
You’d basically have 15s reloads on modern, manually loaded tanks with only two crew left.
This looks like a huge nerf to me.
Russian bias is real. R-77M and R-74 are on my Mig-29SMT while USA is stuck with AIM-120As and AIM-9Ls at 14.3.
T-80B has Vacuum at 10.7 while USA is stuck with DM13 at 12.3333333.
Whatever, since killing two crew members is linked with disabling the turret drive due to new basket modeling, tank is pretty much toast anyway.
You can even add some seconds for tossing dead bodies out…
But 4 people shoudl be able to fix tank faster then 3, not sure if it is like this now.
Btw is still Russian ammo detonation chance 0.4( while NATO was 0.5)?
This myth was debunked 3 years ago.
I mean it’s not one of the best anymore but Russia is still really easy to play.
You forget about fuel tanks, which have a unique mechanic - being completely full, they are completely empty and because of this they explode more often than ammunition
That chance is related to purely cosmetic effects.
The only vehicle in the USSR TT that I consider broken is the MIG21S, that thing is p2w
Pretty sure the IS-4 and IS-6 are still the only tanks in game that has MG ammo that can detonate the whole tank.
And no, German ammo is the least likely to explode if anything.
And, Russian fuel always seems to explode… but nobody else’s? That oddity has been in the game for years!
