My bad, wrong reply. Regardless, every nation still has SACLOS SPAA. Its a fair tradeoff for something like the IRIS-T to not be able to kill 2 Helis but be able to thrash anything else. Bring both types.
Should it be able to deflect inf missiles? No, but this is a new feature, give them time.

either way this is wildly unbalanced and unfair, it’s gone on for too long (despite it being easy to roll back or turn off), and it’s the kind of thing that’s only excused or long-lasting when it happens to russia
LDIRCM is on Mi28NM and Mi-8AMTSh.
Ka52 still has its old DIRCM.

Well I hate to break it to you, but in game, MAWs and Russian helis rarely if ever defeat any SAM let alone IR sams.
As I said previously, the only “broken” or buggy Heli that is “Russian” is the Swedish Mi-28A, that thing avoids lock pretty easily and can dodge Stingers like there’s no tomorrow. I suspect it’s IR signature is too low, or perhaps the Russian Mi-28N is too high, as from mine and my buddies testing, the Mi-28A had to be under 2.0 miles distance to lock, meanwhile the Russian Mi-28N, NM, KA-50, KA-52, MI-24s etc, all could be locked at a range of 3.2ish miles.
Yes, they get scared shitless when coming across a dude that “enjoys” playing a game he continually bashes on the lowest of levels and shows great anger while doing so. Blaming them for that is bit harsh, don’t you think ?
