Nothing is truly smokeless and it is described by the USA “as a low smoke motor” Depending on altittudes and conditions missiles launched on a wet day will create some form of trail.
Im happy with Gaijin adding smoke at various altitudes and conditions.
Clearly has some flare rejection as it is an IRCCM missile.
Notice how I’m not saying Magic 2 or R-73 should be changed…I’m stating 9M is underperforming.
I definitely see blk1 and blk2 coming eventually same with all the other ir missiles like irst but personally I see gaijin just universally nerfing the seekers on these things for the sake of balance because it will be a 20km death bubble.
Can you stop crying and coping ? My man be like “Don’t talk to me no more”. Then proceed to spend time to cry and cope about some random reply a few day later.
Goofy be thinking this is twitter , if you don’t want your name to be made fun of, then change it or man up and take the simple joke like a real human being, maybe considering stop crying and coping about random stuff and return to discussing the damn game then might as well hop off internet.
Damn replying to a comment that wasn’t even about you, did i really hurt you that much? But anyways what to expect from someone that insulted another person’s mother just because he didn’t agree with him, talking about “Standards” while going to every thread and attack everyone that says otherwise.
Here’s what you posted in the Rafale thread :
"My undertanding is currently you have a short window to flare a R-73/Magic 2 before the seekers occular closes the FOV and focuses purely on your engine.
If it is focusing straight off the rail the only way to defeat it is through angling your airframe so your flares intersect the FOV of the missile which is risky and harder to do when you are already defending. With ranges and flights times (people generally dont launch R-73 or Magic 2s from more than 2.5km) They are going to be significantly more lethal than what we currently have in game."
You are ideed complaining about having to take a specific set of actions to defeat said missiles, instead of sitting on periodic release and maybe cutting burner. You also call the R-73 “unflareable” ignoring that the only situations where an IR missile is properly unflareable is one where you’d get just as easily gunned down.
Also I don’t doubt that you preemptively salivate at the thought of butchering everything with your IRIS-T and 9X because you unironically believe Gaijin will unilateraly break the IR balance like that, but in reality another equally capable IR missile will kiss you goodnight while you make your approach and you’ll be back complaining in the Rafale thread anyway.
I really doubt they will add these anytime soon, if anything they will give planes with only 9m better radar missiles to balance it out
I agree on this and am really looking forward to seeing if that lock range one gets fixed because 8km aim 9m in a headon would be very scary in ground or sim and maybe even arb
