@H_ngma
You replied to the wrong post cause you literally repeated my take.
Post has been updated with more details.
anti air cover makes this risky at best (not that there shouldn’t be some risk involved)
No? Alongside would imply that theyre on a similar level which is just not true at all. Comparing the 3 weapons shows a bias since the one thats already a lot better than the others is also the only one that doesnt exist irl
@H_ngma
You inferred that.
So are you arguing against my claim that Kh-38 is superior?
Or are you agreeing with me that Kh-38 is superior in direct comparison?
bait used to believable
The difference betwen the Kh38 and Hammers is the speed and the explosive filler. The last (in the Hammers) is more then enough. And tbf the hammers had GNSS long before it was addet to the KH.
Btw Kh38L do exist, and it is used in the recent conflict that shall not be named.
Thats true, you can only do it when it’s clear.
Again no. Youre purposefully misunderstanding my comment. Your claim that the KH38 is op “alongside” the hammers and mavs implies that theyre on a similar level which is just wrong. Me arguing against your comment does not mean that i think that the Kh is not op i just disagree with you putting all 3 on a similar level.
@H_ngma
Missiles being OP does not make them equal.
My posts say Kh-38 is superior in direct comparison.
Zero of my posts say they are equal.
Your posts are the only posts in this entire topic that have the word “equal” with those three missiles.
" the only difference between them are the only 2 things that matter in the game" (since seekers are pretty much the same in game). No one is complaining against KH38s in general but the MT version is the dubious one
this right here lmao
Yeah ofc your argument changes when you edit your comment so it fits my critique lol
@Columbia6448 defending Kh-38s with his life by omitting details.
My arguments never changed.
@H_ngma
Kh-38 is currently the superior kinematic missile, you cannot gaslight me into thinking I made any other argument when I never did.
never what?
Maybe your argument didnt change in your head but your initial comment that i answered to is now double the lenght it was before. If it was like that initially i would have nothing to complaing about but it wasnt.
this implies that agm65 is just as good as kh-38
@Columbia6448
No it doesn’t, because the target of IR AGMs are tanks, which are “defended” by SPAA, not other IR AGMs.
You’re not firing your IR AGM at other CAS platforms.
The implication is that the IR AGMs were stronger than the SPAA defense bubble, which is fact.
Launching Hammer, AGM-65, and Kh-38MT at 17km or more prevented you from being hit by even Pantsir whose maximum range against top CAS became ~16km in the September-October update of 2024, up from 13km.
The new SPAA protect against the aircraft that carry those weapons.
Kh-38’s extra speed made it able to be launched from 21km and have the same hit rate as an AGM-65 launched from 17km.
That’s the Kh-38’s bonus, and both were above the range of all SPAA until last major update.
not exactly…
it did until you edited your original post, who tf mentioned firing IR agms at other cas platforms, and agm65 would almost never hit outside of 12km on most popular NATO cas platforms
the new spaa are a good change this isnt an argument against spaa
Dude youre allowed to say: “Youre right, my initial comment was worded unclearly and i edited it to make my opinion clear.” Instead of accusing others of gaslighting and sneakily editing comments. Columbia, you and me have the same opinion it just wasnt clear in your inital comment.
