Russian Bias in 2025?

this implies that agm65 is just as good as kh-38

@Columbia6448
No it doesn’t, because the target of IR AGMs are tanks, which are “defended” by SPAA, not other IR AGMs.
You’re not firing your IR AGM at other CAS platforms.

The implication is that the IR AGMs were stronger than the SPAA defense bubble, which is fact.
Launching Hammer, AGM-65, and Kh-38MT at 17km or more prevented you from being hit by even Pantsir whose maximum range against top CAS became ~16km in the September-October update of 2024, up from 13km.

The new SPAA protect against the aircraft that carry those weapons.

Kh-38’s extra speed made it able to be launched from 21km and have the same hit rate as an AGM-65 launched from 17km.
That’s the Kh-38’s bonus, and both were above the range of all SPAA until last major update.

not exactly…

it did until you edited your original post, who tf mentioned firing IR agms at other cas platforms, and agm65 would almost never hit outside of 12km on most popular NATO cas platforms
the new spaa are a good change this isnt an argument against spaa

Dude youre allowed to say: “Youre right, my initial comment was worded unclearly and i edited it to make my opinion clear.” Instead of accusing others of gaslighting and sneakily editing comments. Columbia, you and me have the same opinion it just wasnt clear in your inital comment.

Good that nowadays one can let ChatGPT scan through such massive Topics to wrap it up

Summary Table

Issue Type Common Criticism
Tank and armor balancing Russian tanks seem overly durable or efficient compared to Western MBTs
AA/CAS balance Russian air and AA systems (e.g. Pantsir, Ka-50, SPAA) dominate disproportionately
Missile / weapon systems Kh-38 missiles perceived as superior to analogous Western options
Bug fixing & dev priority Fast fixes for Russian units vs slow updates or dismissals for others
Forum moderation bias Inequitable handling of player feedback and bug reports by nation
Technical quirks & bugs “Spaghetti code” and coding artifacts seem to favor Russian vehicles
Community perception Mixed—some see bias, others see widespread bugs or misinterpretation

China as a TT was never a major nation.

You can’t really point fingers at guys that run the show. Doing that would just disrupt the unity they’re trying so hard to make.

Some certainly don’t.
By the way, China has it’s own application that was pushed to the western market under the name TikTok, so it’s literally made for western audience.

You simply don’t read what I’m telling you.
RU bias is a years old meme that even Gaijin jumped on by creating a special title.

Refer back to my previous example, you’d get much more attention posting about Charlie Hebdo than you will posting about an attack in Africa no one seems to care about.
This trend is really easy to notice, western audience definitely wants to read and sympathize with certain types of content more than the others.

Likewise, people would much rather hear about RU bias than Italian bias, even if the scenario was exactly the same.

THIS.

I am a bit rushed this morning having to do 5 things at once for the first time in months.
I apologize for the lack of specifics in my recent posts.

My brain didn’t think them necessary because the common thing among CAS players is it’s CAS plane vs SPAA, and AGM vs tank.

It does not matter how many missiles are OP compared to SPAA, they can be superior to each other as well.
There was a time when LGBUs from Jaguar was OP against top SPAA until Pantsir was added then only LGBUs from top CAS were effective, then the late 2024 Pantsir buff made LGBUs a struggle to use.

That did not mean LBGUs were as OP as Mavericks prior to Pantsir’s addition, it just meant that both types were OP against ground units.
Obviously Mavericks were superior to LGBUs in a direct comparison.

Next time if you see someone claim CAS is [or was in this case] OP, they’re almost always speaking about vs SPAA defense bubbles unless they specify otherwise.

another confirmation that the toaster is pointless

How does that contradict what I said? The Kh-38 was added in March 2024. For over a year, the Russians had a missile they could fire from above their own airfield. Nobody was bothered about balance. But when it came to adding a Western missile, the balance issue was settled even before it was introduced. If that’s not bias, then what is?

Perfect. Let’s keep the Kh-38ML in the game and remove the MT.

I think with the addition of multi-vehicle SPAA we should add vehicles like the CRAM and other close-in weapon systems that can eliminate munitions

Are you guys new here?

I mean he essentially said that in the end so maybe the forum is not as childish as some make it out to be

Exactly, in a Russian game where the majority of players are Russian-speaking, the whole topic of American bias wouldn’t get any traction. What the hell are you even talking about?

That’s his standard way of communicating. Either ignore him, or report him to a moderator.

This is a stretch if I ever seen one.

Straight up BS.
If you could even see anything and the map allows, you could do far out launches with point lock, not tracking, same as hammer and maverick.
