The armor difference between the leopard and a Leo are massively different when looking frontally. They don’t have a massive ammo carousel that mostly blows up. They have spall liners.
You can do everything correct and they still don’t die. There’s no comparison between a Leo and a t series. Even the t90m pales in comparison.
The Japanese autoloader burn off the the rounds as well. You can’t have that in a Russian tank or the crew dies. It’s not exactly the same because I’ve never had an ammo cook off in a t series and that’s for a reason. I’d imagine the game has this figured into the RNG of aspects related to Russian ammo.
Maybe that should just put autoloaders around the outside of the tank, it’s seemingly more effective.
Same with fuel tanks.
Put a thin fuel tank (exterior if possible) to remove 100% of spalling for free.
AMXs’ have notoriously tanky hulls because of that.
Definitely agreed, it would cook the crew or the underside of the tank completely would be interesting to see if that could even work IRL though.
