The only reasonable case one could make is for the Leopards dropping their reload for ace crews, which is…
There are fair arguments for both; it still has the legacy reload while everything else has better, but the tank is one of the strongest in-game, despite my skill issue being incapable of making them work.
Which part isn’t true? the 2A7/122 part or the 2A5/2A6/PSO part?
I’m curious where this is going. Seeing as you have barely any experience at top tier, let alone any experience at high tier outside of the German tree, this should be getting funny.
The spall passing through is more unrealistic than absorbing all spall, and tanks being inoperative while burning wouldnt affect just to the t-series tanks, the thing is fuel does stop spall.
Thus, if they don’t explode, Russian, Japanese, and French MBTs have strangely survivable LFP / Side armour.
Just a few examples from Russian MBTs within a couple days ago:
The Leo’s have received ridiculous nerf after ridiculous nerf. From the gun depression over the sides and back of the tank to the turret basket actively hindering rather than helping them and blocking horizontal turret traverse.
Also, as if you’re one to talk. You barely play anything but US top tier. At least on the account you’re using the comment. Yet here you are, running hard defense for constant nerfs to NATO vehicles and buff for Russian ones.
I have 9 tech trees up to 12.7 and I have only really played China the last couple of days. The Leopard 2A7s/Strv 122 are still easily the best top tier MBTs. You have to actually troll to do bad in those tanks.
Now tell me, how many trees do you have researched up to that BR?
Its partially historical. The Leopard 2 does that but its seemingly tied to the stabilizer and therefore turning the stabilizer off should also turn off the restriction. So if its an addition done purely for historical accuracy then its a half assed one
Not only that, but they extended it way beyond what is reasonable. Both in the area it covers and how far it tilts upwards. Hell, there’s pictures of Leo 2s basically hitting the back of the engine deck. It’s just one in a long line of nerfs to Western tanks.
This would be such an easy fix too. We can already turn off the stabilizer in game for quite literally no reason, but doing this would give you a reason to do so.
I don’t know if spalling gets stopped by fuel or not, but im pretty sure that burning fuel in the crew compartment is not fun.
It would definitely help if getting hit into a fuel tank that is inside the crew compartment had more consequences than a 50%\50% chance of no damage at all or instant death.
Maybe all fuel tanks should create new spalling, that could help.
And to be clear I want that for all tanks regardless of the nation.
