I would agree with you with BMPT when it was at 10.3. However now at 11.3 where it can face rounds like M829A2 and DM53, Its pretty easy to kill

I am starting to believe that this guy just hops on the game, tries to bomb with jets or hold w right into the enemy tanks depending on the gamemode and then make a thread about whatever vehicle killed him and call it op or call the vehicle he was using bad.

Somewhere on Pluto maybe. But on Earth there is t80ud which is better in almost every way and at same br. Lack of thermals can be compensated by researching eyes modification in most cases

The only Russian 10.3 that is “undertiered” is the UD, which should be 10.7. The rest of the vehicles are total garbage.
100% agree. for example all the bmps/bmds are overtiered. they die in 1 hit from a tiger (5.7) and should be moved down to ~5.3 or less

They don’t really need to. They are bad vehicles but recompressing the game is not a good idea.

2S38 is mediocre, and its going to 10.7.
BMP-2M is garbage, and i’m tired of people pretending its overpowered. You are slower than MBTs. IFVs beyond 9.7 are simply not good.
Strela is an SPAA, and thus I did not think of it. Strela is good.
2S25M is. Subpar mobility because of awful transmission, awful gun handling, paper armor, no depression, terrible reload, etc.
BMD is fine.
However, last I checked, these are not 10.3.
Genuinely don’t know what to say to any of this. Like, you’re wrong on all counts barring the Strela. The 2S25M has enough mobility to get to good spots and begin farming with its great gun. Bad reload? Just go behind cover if you don’t one shot? The 2M is bad? It can frontally engage every MBT in the game, which is unique for IFVs. The 2S38 owns flanks and destroys helis without giving away its position. Speed for these vehicles isn’t an issue. They reach the same spots you would in an MBT before the first exchanges are made.
However, last I checked, these are not 10.3.
My point was that these show up in 10.3 lineups frequently and are more than capable at even top tier.

Stuff like 2A4 or M1 will get to spots faster, can use more spots due to better gun depression, and knock out more targets in quick succession with their better reloads. And this is not factoring in how 2S25M performs poorly when turning due to its rather awful transmission, it has Type 10 syndrome but a bit better.
In a frontal engagement it loses every time, as 120mm APFSDS will kill the 2M before it can really do much. Plus, the 2M’s Kornet launchers are unstabilized, and the ATGMs will often go directly into the ground.

No. There are plenty of situations where this isn’t true.
If a 2S38 or BMD are getting a good amount of kills at top tier, I think we might need to check the iq of the enemy team.

Only bad reverse speed, thermals aren’t really that important, and u get good armor that makes u very hard to kill when hull down

USSR has the best IR/EO spaa in that br, the strella, while in 10.7 have the 2S6. Which both are way better than the roland or chaparral.
Sabot rounds, air tracking and faster he-vt shells. And yet you say “for some reason” lmao.
Turret rotation not that bad. And people exagerate saying that the reverse and depression makes the tank bad, if you have such good forward speed and strong armor.
