Russian 10.3 tanks underpowered

The fact that the Russian team consistently lose at 10.3 is a testimony to how underpowered these tanks are.

So what options do we have here? Let’s begin.

SPAAs - I don’t play SPAA (unless it’s one of these autocannon tanks) so I can’t comment

BMP-2M - Can’t coment because I don’t own

2S38 - a ‘light’ tank slower than non-ERA MBTs like Leopard 2s. 0.7 higher than Begleitpanzer 57 for some reason. Its mobility is about comparable to fatten up MBTs like the M1A2 Abrams SEP V2.

T-72AV TURMS - the best option of 10.3 because it has an thermal sight, but it is slow and armor is bad.

T-72Bs - Slow and terrible handling all around, no thermal sights.

T-80UD - T-72B but slightly better. Still terrible.

They all share a common trait of bad gun depression, bad handling (turret rotation), bad reverse speed (this is critical) etc.

Among them, as you can see, only the T-72B series is not premium (and SPAA), meaning it’s a uphill struggle against anyone else with a competent loadout.

Only the 2S38 and T-72AV TURMS are decent choices; I would be lying if I say that they aren’t. Perhaps T-80UD’s utility is in Arcade mode where thermal sight means less.

Ir launching helos should be 11.7 or 12.3.
Terminator should be 9.3
Bases should be closer so you could bomb in IRIAF more easily, and should be dropped to 12.3 ?

If you are complaning about russian tanks being BAD, then maybe it is time to reconsider playing the game. The devs are literally biased towards Russia. BMPT is clear proof of that. T-80 is probably the most indestructible tank in that BR. No IFV can just kill russian tanks, while other nations get cooked front back and side from 8.0 to 10.7.

I would agree with you with BMPT when it was at 10.3. However now at 11.3 where it can face rounds like M829A2 and DM53, Its pretty easy to kill

I am starting to believe that this guy just hops on the game, tries to bomb with jets or hold w right into the enemy tanks depending on the gamemode and then make a thread about whatever vehicle killed him and call it op or call the vehicle he was using bad.

Somewhere on Pluto maybe. But on Earth there is t80ud which is better in almost every way and at same br. Lack of thermals can be compensated by researching eyes modification in most cases

They all are under BRed and need a 0.3 BR increase at the bare minimum…like T-80UD probably should be 11.0
