Russia top tier tanks are miserable and there is no way to fix that

Russian tanks would be better if this game used a V-JOY aiming system that mimic real life. Steel Beasts uses such a system for example.

Right now, you can mouse-aim point and click the LFP, driver port, breach/barrel even roof slope in .1 seconds and their armor is basically useless.

Things that do not exist in real life are making them worse.

Another aspect is third person, you can peek ridges with -10 and back-off in .1 seconds in this game, making NATO tanks have armor equivalent to 20000mm. First person only like Simulator Battles is not the answer though, there are even worse problems with that solution.

and in this game, you aim through barrel not gunner right (kind ugly realistic in the game should be forced to aim through gunner sight)

maybe it’ll make a little different but remember round such DM53 have anti era tip and combine with modern FCS in not probably that hard to kill Russian tank with era since FCS tend to aim the center of the tanks (Gunner heat PC also work like that in term of FCS)

in the map like Fulda it might work but sht most of the time in top tier GRB we are playing the tanks that mimic the FCS in the map like abandoned factories which probably favor better armor win even in the map such as fulda how long that advantage gonna last? before KH-38 kill those -10 depression super tank (probably about 3min or until you kill some Russian and with little scout assist)

And then you have things like FCS (that isn’t properly implemented in-game) that can automatically adjust the barrel’s position to account for distance (and lock onto certain targets) – without the gunner even having to manually ‘laser-range find’.

dont worry you have a new top tier now

gunner heat PC also work like that too but i really doubt gaijin will make FCS to that scale of realistic especially we still stuck with map such as abandoned factories in 11.7

I thinl the only reasonable way of implementing it ( at least for GRB) is to restrict that mechanic only to commander optics.
