all public sources state the heaviest merkava mk4 is 65 tons, but fresh info directly from soldiers, as well as info signs from “open days” from military batallions reveal mk.3 is 80 tons heavy, and mk.4 is 83 tons heavy. Some people say the heaviest mk.4 weighs 91, but that’s just beyond insanity, but considering it has around 1,1m of physical armor on just the turret front (I measured via 3D modelling software) - that mass (83t) is likely realistic, if not real

Yea Russian production tank are mediocre at best. BIASED people will said that they have good armor. But they have easy weakspot that stay the same for like 3 ranks. T-90M was add a year ago. And the best MBT in Russia TT its the T-80BVM and that thing its like 4 years old. In these 4 years you would have expected gaijin to have add some prototype to fill the Russian rank to enhance the gameplay of their tank. I have always found it “Curious” how for other nations “main ones” like Germany its Ok to add prototype Vehicles as Top tier. MBT70/Leopard2k…etc etc. But for Russia that has never happens.
Its been 5 Years since T-90A was add to the game. And still there is not sight of the Obj187. A tank that fixed a lot of problem with Russian tank like the cleavage weakspot or the bad back traverse speed. And the Only reason T-90A was choose for production Instead of the Obj187 was because money. This thing will come to the game in some S**** event when its useless for people that only play top tier. Don’t talk about Obj640 or Obj195. Armata sound like dream at this point.
What its more funny its how many thread you have with people calling that Russian is overpowered. Just because finally they have a decent CAS plane/missile.

These never fucking competed. T-90 and Object 187 never competed. Object 187 was just UVZ’s own side project with no funding/interest from army, there was absolutely no competition between 187 and 188, and 187 was done by their own funding, dont make shit up.
An experiment, test bed can’t lose to the decade after tank if there was nothing to lose in
Be it ever considered by army or ordered they would not develop 7 versions of the tank.
Again, just another project without army funding as it wasn’t ordered and it didn’t compete with anything.
The only case of the “competitions” is the ever so hated T-80BVM, which won the competition with T-80BV-RM, which was basically BVM but with Arena APS and 1400 HP engine, that’s the only thing you lost.

Both Obj187 and 188 where UVZ(now). Project for the same program. Yea you’re Right Obj187 was UVZ child. That they put a lot of funding on it. Even build 5/6 different prototype.
I don’t see how this contradict what i was saying. It not like the Soviet Ministry of Defense didn’t know it exist. and Its was clearly more promising than t-90.

this isn’t soldier testimony this is just a guy using common sense with tools that are provided to help make sense of stupidity. and this isn’t talks of nerfing of mobility this is the talks of the legitimate sources being just utterly not talked about. nobody is saying that these tanks need nerfed but that they aren’t accurate and they need buffed/improved. you are just another person who don’t want other tanks being meta to the game.
Nerfing mobility doesn’t make a tank meta.
And nerfing mobility never proves armor.
Israel armor doctrine states that crew survivability/armor is the number one priority second priority is the armament and the third least prioritized concern is speed. Again this isn’t talks of nerfing but going off of common sense these tanks aren’t accurate and need serious work. I take the namer ifv as one of the latest screw ups of gaijin just being blatantly a joke when the namer is known to be the most heavily armored ifv in the world. Well everyone knows that’s a complete lack luster choice of words to even say that for the one’s in game. Just look at the photos of the armor of the namers hull composites that are completely missing in game and tell me the merkava is just as accurate as they think it is. Again this isn’t talks of nerfing. This is a matter of actually getting the tanks buffed in armor and making them apart of the meta for fun in the game.
