One of the matches you had 30% RP. Just the premium doubles your Time Played reward, which is the biggest income. You got 5181 RP for 8:49 minutes of sightseeing and pressing a space bar a few times while I got 2499 RP for 25 minutes of heavy fighting, dodging a bunch of torpedoes and getting bombed by a bomber. The whole RP income for all of this was really pathetic.
As of late, the majority of my games are just Naval, as I’m doing my dailies and I don’t have to wear headphones all this time while killing my ears with constant “bang! bang!” sounds.
You know, you are technically not getting that 17,000 RP. It’s like 8K-something PLUS your component upgrade research (which is also 8K+). If the units you used were spaded, your income shown would be 8,000-something RP, so that “final” number is really misleading. I think they did the display this way, so the number looks beefier than it really is.
The $3.33 a month for premium account when it’s on sale pays off. I have over 400 days of premium on my account. Partially for a reason to spend money, partially cause it’s nice to see faster rewards.
Viggen wasn’t spaded, so I didn’t earn spading RP. It’s stock. I still don’t have the 9Js for it.
Yes, sorry, time played not activity.
In PvE it is a set amount not linked to time but I think score, and a win. As I mentioned 10,000 points in PvE air is exactly the same as 2,000 points due to nature of mode.
The main goal is to win or rewards are non-existent as usual. Hence the annoyance at leechers and “for fun” players in them modes (ground being A LOT harder).
I had plenty of years of premium time and always got it at 50% off. I don’t have anything now, as I didn’t play the game for 8+ months. Got sick during the grindola event and didn’t play after, even though I still had something like 4 months of premium left. With a premium account you kind of forcing yourself to play more, so it doesn’t look like you are wasting time. Without premium I just mostly try to play spaded units, except Japanese where I used bigger RP boosters and that 10 days of premium to grind some Jap. Naval. Don’t know, I might get 3 months of premium in November, but don’t think I want to go with the full year, as I don’t know if I will continue to grind these endless battle passes and events are even less enticing for me these days. Might do just some quick Naval grind here and there, but I’m not as much interested in this game as I used to be.
If your Viggen was spaded, your total RP earned would have been a half what you are getting now. Try a match with spaded vehicles and compare the two ;).
No, the RP would remain the same. You get bonus RP once a line is spaded, not before.
I have played Assault mode a’plenty. Used to get first place and 300% RP booster for 1st. place very reliably. Then gaijin had to screw things up and I can get a 75% RP booster for the first place. Yes, the time matters, but they changed something and now you can get a 300% RP booster, if you are in the middle of the team. Kinda looks like, the more you die and respawn, the bigger the chance for a bigger booster. It doesn’t make any sense. I have seen the increased nerf in Assault over the years, be it faster planes at the same BR or more accurate AI and larger amount of heavy tanks in each wave (while much less waves with light tanks). The whole mode is designed to lose, unless you have a good team with shell upgrades. With the APCR I can have 15-25+ assists. It’s just so annoying. On top of that you have to wait until Rank III of the upgrades to get upgraded shell and Rank IV for another. This is so dumb, especially with APCR as stock.
The easiest win is in up to 2.3 BR and the top BR with jets. Other brackets is just pure suffering in a stock tank, especially on Sinai where AI shoots at you like a fish in a barrel from 3 different directions and almost nowhere to hide. People been complaining about this map for years, but nothing has changed.
I wasn’t talking about component line bonus. You got 8,929 for researching Kurnass 2000 with your Kurnass. Your Mk83 (that you are grinding) component upgrade reward is 8,118. The total is 17,047. Your convertible RP is 8,118. How much would the “total” be, if your Kurnass were already spaded and you used it in the same match? 8,118, not 17,047. So, in a way, as I said before, that “Total” number is shown like that to make you feel better about the match and the money spent.
Notice in my screenshot there is no RP gain for grinding a component, as my ships were already spaded.
Sir, the Viggen C was the 17,000 RP match, not the Kurnass.
I just gave you the stats from your own screenshots that you have uploaded. It was specifically the 4th screenshot and it was Kurnass… and it was 17,000 RP total.
No, it’s the 5th screenshot.
He is right
Came here to see if im the only one
Glad to see im not
Damn does RP grind feel useless after the update
14 minutes 40 seconds, that’s in-line with expected RP earnings from me if it’s props or early jets, or AI aircraft were targeted among players.
That was an air RB and I killed two bases and eight aircraft almost a double Ace so arm that should be like 30 to 40,000 XP at least
Yeah, I avoid Ground since it is not particularly well put together (far too hard for a beginner to the mode).
I was coming from Air where the rewards are exactly the same as the last update (5.3+ about 2.7k RP, 6.7+ about 3.7k RP, both capped to 32k SL; non premium).
The thing with PvE is you don’t get anything but costs if you lose, and unlike PvP modes the time is static (20-30min). As I say it appears to cap out at about 2000 points where getting vastly more gives nothing extra.
With PvP modes the rewards are better explained by @Bruce_R1 in how Activity/time is worked out. The game is much more than kills and is represented in the breakdown (more visible now).
I can’t remember if I saw a proper explanation @AlvisWisla but it does make sense when looking at after battle reports.
What are you trying to pull?
It’s the 4th screenshot in your spoiler of 5 pics… Kurnass with 17K.
No, that says 8118RP, or 8929 into the next vehicle due to the 10% extra bonus for researching the next in the line.
Either way, not 17,000RP. Not sure why you’re claiming it is when it isn’t.
The Viggen C screenshot is the only 17k one.
I don’t speak combined RP and you’re the first person I’ve come across that tries to.
The 17k is the split of modification and next vehicle research, I don’t think people realise how it is put together on the last line but essentially it is the 8k+ you state.
(Edit: not “split” but you know what I mean).
