Complaining that he isnt exposed to use it is purely helicopter/aircraft bias.

Or literally any light tanks that gets shredded or any vehicle with exposed crew that gets picked apart by an MG but cannot counter with their own MG.
Having the gunner operate an MG outside the vehicle is nothing short of magic.

It is their only defense against aircraft, and its hardly even effective unless its a .50 cal.

It mostly America’s defense against aircraft, no other nation gets this cozy little extra weapon to counter planes, light tanks or just blind anyone.
Flying a plane around a map against US you get shot at from everywhere, yet you cannot return fire due to this magical one way armor.

Your advantage is “No armor best armor” bullshit. They HAVE to MG you because their main gun will go right through you and do absolutely nothing but damage a wheel or optic.

??? if you’re having trouble with shot consistency against airplanes that’s a skill issue they have way more internal parts modeled for impact

As someone, who has IRL experience with various MGs on various WWII vehicles I can honestly say, that they’re modelled properly in WT. There’s no reason to slow their movement down…

They do not require an exposed crew member to operate.

The thing is, there’s no reason to nerf them. Them over performing doesn’t harm anything, or make the game worse. They allow for tanks to have a defence against aircraft and helicopters, as well as a way to take out tracks and kill unarmoured tanks.

Gameplay>realism.
