It’s a turret, it’s fired from inside the tank, it’s also slower than roof mounted machine guns.
Yes there are many users who do not fly helicopters and only experience them at 11.7 when it’s a KA-50 and they shoot off their tail and they continue flying and kill 3 people
Omg your so lost its unreal, actually splitting hairs to not look an idiot
It’s not a roof gun it’s a turret mounted on a turret… Which happens to be on the roof of the turret… You realise how stupid that sounds lmao.
Prove it’s slower?? Where’s your source??
This is the central premise of your argument, and yet you have consistently failed to back up this claim.
Does your claim have a historical basis? No, when provided with evidence that said machine guns can traverse at the shown rate, you dismiss them.
Is it a game balance focused complaint? This is what you claim, and yet you refuse to provide any evidence for this. When others claim to have simply adapted to this threat, and that they can achieve perfectly reasonable results with longer range rocket attacks, you dismiss them.
In fact, you go on to claim that they are not an effective counter for CAS, which would imply that if anything they are too weak, not too strong as to need a nerf.
So, on what justification do you claim that they traverse too quickly? What is the evidence you base your premise on? Remembering that your own personal experience can be dismissed just as easily as you dismiss other’s experiences.
WHERES YOUR TRAVERSE SOURCE!!
I really can’t believe this is still going on. The Trolling OP must be in hysterics over this. Can’t say I blame them.
Yes.
It’s slower ingame than rooftop machine guns which are the thing I’m criticizing and asking to be nerfed.
Gaijin doesn’t provide player statistics.
Ok, so you’re freely admitting your argument doesn’t have any basis other than your own personal experience. Which is no more valid than anyone elses, and indeed can be dismissed when it seems most other players have the opposite opinion you do.
So, what is the point of this thread?
Most players do not fly helicopters.
To advocate for rooftop machine guns to be balanced.
Based on statistics you already admitted you don’t have, or some other source other than your own experience?
Which is somewhat of a moot point anyways, since players who have claimed to play helicopters have posted here, and you dismised them all the same.
You have failed to prove that they need to be balanced, and yet you want to boldy advocate that they need it? That’s backwards, prove a problem then suggest a solution.
Dumbest argument ever made in war thunders history
Just to prove you wrong Vam the ignored individual, here are 2 videos that clearly show how easy it is to actually rotate the .50 caliber machine gun on a real M4 Sherman that runs under its own power and a video of them shooting Hogs due to them growing out of proportion aka very vary large numbers in the dark so there isn’t any violent stuff
(1:50) for the 2nd video
It takes little to no effort to turn the .50 cal. In real life and War Thunder.
But if you want to keep claiming it should take more effort cause “big gun” and “very heavy” I suggest going back to university.
Since weight/doesn’t always mean something cannot turn well.
This is one of the silliest posts Ive seen. Probably ever, on any forum.
Of all the real problems in the game, apparently MGs swivel too fast? Pffft, anything pintle mounted, no, WD40 bruh. And they’re engineered to balance the gun. Curve track mounted, like on the AGS, maybe a little? The Strykers is actually slow AF though…
CAS boy angy
Normally you cause some problems but i agree on the mount part of your comments.
I dont know much more unhinged it could be. His last heli related post was him claiming that 8.7 spaa cant lock helis past 2km and that spaa require a laser rangefinder to hit them
