Rooftop machine guns turn too fast

Yes reload rates… Not traverse rates, there’s a difference.

Claims their not powered irl, shows evidence of them being powered… Brain melts… Then ignores information presented and continues arguing lmafo

You’re bringing the comparison without explaining why.

Speak concisely so people do not misunderstand your point.

I have never stated this.

It’s not even the powered ones that are being questioned, it’s the very lightweight single mounts on top of tanks like the Sherman he seems aggrieved with.

Hell, you can even see in the video I posted earlier that someone is able to rotate the .50 cal at almost the same speed it’s capable of in game with one hand. Not a soldier in a combat situation applying all of their strength in a desperate attempt to save their own life, this is a firearms curator handling a rare and valuable historical firearm with his off hand casually while listening to someone else talking.

Hello? Leclerc?

Yes, from outside of the tank. Irrelevant to ingame.

Hello documents showed it was slowed to stop loading errors…

Who’s playing shermans at 8.3+

Both have written multiple books on the subject and have been used as sources for multiple forms of media… Almost the textbook definition of credible source. And I’m sure you did soooo much shooting at flying targets during your time deployed. You’re not the only with time in the sandbox, you’re not special.

I know, his argument is based on feelings , and when shown factual evidence he can’t handle it

And you’re flying a helicopter with inputs from a mouse and keyboard while a fake Fly-by-wire system does all the heavy lifting.

Dunno why you’re convinced the M2 wasn’t capable of being fired from inside the tank. It was explicitly positioned so that at high angles of elevation, the commander could be sheltered inside the tank while firing up at aircraft.

Regardless, shermans ain’t facing helicopters in game… Or shouldn’t be, the tanks that are like m48s/m60+ have the means to fire from within the hull.

I was referenced Shermans because that’s the video I linked, and they use a very similar MG mounting to most other tanks around that tier. The M46/47, Sheridan, Abrams, all the Soviet, Japanese, Italian and some of the Israeli tanks too. It’s pretty much only the M48 and M60 series, as well as a few similar oddballs like the MBT-70s and the Leo 2K that have fully enclosed, electrically powered roof guns.

Yes rooftop machine guns aren’t powered. A cupola turret is a turret, it’s not a “rooftop machine gun” that being a machine gun on a mount.

Yes War Thunder is a video game and should be balanced as such.

Currently you can aim your rooftop machine gun too fast.

That is an opinion(and one shared by a microscopic minority)

And in this case it is a stupid opinion, which we have all been telling you for the last 500 posts

Where is it mounted then??? ON THE ROOF
