Add EWRs which can be placed by helicopters - it would be nice for helis and airplanes to play in air sim, something like DCS
Place SAM Sites randomly arround the map with strong SAMs, so A-G will be competitive to do in air sim and we wont just have braindead zombers
Player AWACS - reward for killed scanned targets, make players benefit from playing it.
Remove useful mechanics and just reward players for kills and other stuff. Make sim more fun and competitive, this would literally fix simulator as it is.
Anything that could make sim more hardcore and less rewarding for just going a to b and bombing would be nice. I think it’s pathetic I make less rp and silver lions in sim than air rb with good games.
I think more SAM sites would be amazing, awacs or ewr would help more too.
advanced SAMs are too much, for current maps
Stinger/Igla will be enough to scary low flying zombers, so, they will be unable to abuse multipath, will be way easier to kill
Also would be nice to have bot matches so that your not waiting or not getting a match in a BR that your trying to play. If other people join in a bot is removed wen the new player shows up.
I totally agree with you. I’d love to see strategic SAM placements on the map.
Instead of doing this, gaijin just nerfed sim too much. I want to play SIM, but I also want to get to top tier where I like to play and it’s almost impossible to grind your way there with sim only…
Mobile ICBM launchers that target enemy bases, targets for strike aircraft. Dont take them out then you get ticket bleed. Base targeted is random but wont do more the 50% damage to an enemy base. Friendly team gets warning of when it will fire. Points for successful ICBM intercept as well
Gaijin could add these things slowly, just build up with every update and add a few things at a time. Sim could be an amazing game mode and it would give more meaningful rewards if it was a little more hardcore… Atm it’s better to gain air rewards in ground sim than EC…
Hawk and SA-6 are both good choices. It can be deployed at airports to protect them from kamikaze attacks coming in from high altitude. But I think the number of airfields needs to be reduced to reduce the threat area of long-range air defense.
Stinger and Igla carried by infantry are also a good option, and I think these units can be deployed with AI helicopters. The player needs to cover the AI helicopter to a certain location, and when done, the manpads will be deployed in this location. Once deployed, it will be marked on the map. These deadly but vulnerable targets can be easily destroyed with bombs.
I think we can also deploy some heavy anti-aircraft weapons like Roland and SA-8 on the front line by convoys. Add a quest for the player to protect a convoy. These SAM will be deployed when the convoy reaches its target.
The current carrier can be destroyed by any low altitude attack which is intolerable and fleet air defense must be strengthened. At the very least, carriers need to be protected by several modern destroyers and cruisers with sufficient anti-aircraft firepower. If possible, I would like the fleet to also be protected by long-range anti-aircraft missiles.
But all this requires ensuring that the map is extended to at least 128km by 128km. Small maps should not be allowed in the highest 2-3 level battles.
SEAD orientated objectives would certainly be fun, but need to balanced right. Already enough issues with convoys AAs and they are just SIDAM-25s.
Just different types of bases with different types/amounts of defences would be fun. A tad annoyed they just removed Gepards from bases. Was interesting to have to attack those via other strategies than just flying straight over them
As much as I would LOVE proper SEAD objectives and long range SAM sites, they would need to be at top tier only where we have targeting pods. Currently I struggle to get SIDAM25’s to render before they even open fire on me if I just look through the cockpit. It’s nearly impossible for me to engage convoys in early jets

Map sizes need to be quadrupled at minimum, radar data-link, ECM/jammers, in-air refuelling, better team radio communication, no chat timeout/delay, improved spotting system and rendering.
I’d even go so far as suggesting 2 player functionality with RIO/WSO .
As much as I like the idea of 512KM * 512KM, it looks like it would be cool. But that may be too much to ask for a hamster-powered server. The size of 256KM * 256KM is enough that players must fly in a more economical way.
