It’s too good as a fighter. It’s like a mig21 and 19 hybrid thats super fast and can actually hold speed okay. If you are consistently dying I suggest actually climbing or by going around the map avoiding the initial headon attacks at the start of the match. While the somewhat similar mig23bn isn’t necessarily amazing they all get slaughtered because they don’t bother climbing at the start of the match and people get to dive on them for free.
a dogfighter doesn’t need to be more nimble than its opponents as long as it has consistently way more energy than them, and can turn hard enough to rip shots off.
there’s a reason the MiG-19 is such a good dogfighter, and it’s the same exact reason why the Su-7 is aswell. not particularly nimble, but makes up for it with ridicioulus energy retention, high thrust, and enough agility to comfortably hit shots at awkward angles.
The poor TU-4 got bullied really bad durning the 9.0 ERA of Tu-4 so no… if we low it down now the B52 and Tu-95 will be even more unplayable.
Yeah the Su-7B’s maintain energy very well, but the 19 still pulls harder at lower speeds. After about .94 mach the initial turn in on the Su-7 becomes more reliable. There is a reason the Su-7 eventually turned into the Su-17/22 while the mig19 did not go further than the Chinese making it into the Q-5 and Pakistan ordering A-5C’s.

That’s a very funny thing to say considering the Su-7 is one of the fastest planes at that battle rating, and the A-10 is probably the slowest jet of all high ranks
No, these super fast planes are unbearable to deal with for subsonic planes, they just keep running away forever and most of the time you have to end the match by destroying bots which really isn’t the funniest arb gameplay. If I were to decide I’d rather decompress the whole thing, if anything just to make sure these mach 2 rockets never face 8.x planes
Su-7 is still impossible to dogfight against with a sabre if the Su-7 knows what they’re doing.
