Responding to issues regarding dev server reports & an update on spall lining armor from the developers

Today I learned that the T-28, T-28E, Sav 43, M3 Lee, SU-122, 75/34 M42, are all “gold coin vehicles” lol.

Regardless, that was never a brag. It was a demonstration that one person can obviously very much change whether a team wins or not to a measurable degree many times larger than what would be needed for the algorithm to detect and adjust for Italy team skill.

It does not matter whether you’re impressed by it or blah blah. It proves the point relevant to the conversation just fine either way.

Why don’t you explain your 9KD and your through-wall targeting first?
I think you’ve lost your mind a little bit

Sure, 9KD: I killed 9 guys and they only killed me once

Through wall targeting: Either a teammate spotted him for me (it’s AB) or I used 3rd person over a short wall, or they didn’t change speed or direction and were a predictable distance behind the wall.

By the way: pick a lane, bro. Is AB + low tier so pathetically easy that winning a lot in it doesn’t mean anything? OR is 9KD in AB + low tier unfathomably difficult to achieve because it’s so hard, lol? Can’t be both…

You explain feebly. I also played arcade games.
I won’t have any conversations with cheaters now, it’s lowering my IQ

I DIDN’T personally, manually evaluate any top tier vehicles anywhere in this conversation.

Neither did you, though. Because you have not invented any objective, repeatable way to do that, as you were unable to answer any basic questions about your method. All you did was you vaguely squinted and made a wildly subjective gut feeling answer that is useless, and nothing more.

NOBODY – you me or anyone else – has a method to evaluate vehicles manually and personally that is accurate and effective. That’s why you have to use win rate data from game outcomes.

I won’t have any conversations with cheaters now

I mean, I’m not, so you actually just didn’t have answers to the points made. But that’s fine, bye for the 2nd time, have a nice day, see you tomorrow probably.

Edit: Imagine accusing someone of shooting through walls, and then posting a replay of a 2C Bis, which literally can’t shoot through walls since it only has HE lol

this, genuinely. cannot be overstated how ridiculous how long this has gone on for, I play russia too and its just dumb that i can tank hits my other tech trees simply cannot when they should.

What about the TOG II reports that were labelled as “not a bug” after it hit the live server? It still has the wrong armour.

It should have a 6 inches (152.4mm) mantlet and 4 inches (101.6mm) all around the turret sides/rear. 5 inches (127mm) hull front and 3.5 inches (88.9mm) of hull side armour.

What I’m wondering is how much free reign do the technical stuff get.

I would feel bad if I find out that all of their decisions were made according to developer guidelines, and it would mean that going after specific mods is uncalled for.

But if they have a lot of independence, and are choosing on how to respond to bug reports with their subjective opinion? That would be weird.

Anyways, it’s clear that whatever system these guys have, it needs changing.

Lemme guess, your source is “it came to me in a dream” or “during astral projection into the US MIC the reality revealed itself to me”?

I have to disagree with you here. I don’t believe data is able to tell you what people are finding to be fun or not if such things are baked into the game, don’t allow for any sort of pre- or post-use feedback, but are mandatory and or unskippable. I’ll use my repair costs example from before. I cannot skip or avoid them, I’m not asked after or before a match if I think they are fair or not, nor is there any in-game survey that asks me about them or anything for that matter. Gaijin is only getting data showing I was charged a repair cost and nothing on whether I enjoy it or not because it’s unavoidable. And it took an outside-the-game (I’m sure there’s a better term for it) incident, this being the review bombing, to finally see the overall attitude towards them was negative. Sure, players can go to this forum and leave feedback, but then are you not basically setting them up for leaving posts you yourself said you don’t much care for in relationship to your developer background of “hey, this is too expensive” (in terms of SL).

Hypothetically, wouldn’t Gaijin stand to better benefit in terms of data collection and cutting down on forum posts and duplicate or genuinely irrelevant bug reports by implementing some sort of randomized sort of mini survey that is made available after a certain condition is met? And subsequently, wouldn’t players also feel like they are getting a direct way to give feedback while -game and fresh on the mind? Like let’s just say for this example, 10-50 matches. And it doesn’t have to be massive, complex, or long.

In the last 20 matches, you paid 22,956 silver lions in repair costs. Do you believe this to be a; [ ] fair amount, [ ] excessive amount, or [ ] necessary amount?

In the last 30 matches, you manned the M26, M18, and M4A1 27 times. How do you feel about the performance of these vehicles? [ ] poor [ ] average [ ] great? and Subsequently, you only took out the M24 and M4 105 3 times in those 30 matches. How would you rate their performance (insert same boxes)

Apologies for this getting a bit winded but I wanted to provide something to back up my point on being able to actually provide feedback and therefore data on something no player can skip or avoid. Again, Gaijin sees that we were charged it as intended, but nothing that indicates it’s fun or enjoyable.

Also Kevlar in the Abrams but in the EU ones like Leos and Challys is Dyneema and Spectra Shield that are lighter and more effective

Why some toptier jets have worse stock missiles than others?

By that logic we shouldn’t have custom loadouts or detail cockpits or many other things…

None of those things are even remotely related or close to a spall liner so not quite sure what point you’re trying to make

Cockpits arent important ?? custom loadout isn’t it has made so many more vehicles viable now that you can use custom loadout stop crying pls

this logic that you’re applying makes no sense.

Custom Loadouts are generally given to top tier aircraft or aircraft who’d benefit from it (i.e. aircraft with lots of possible payload combinations, such as the Buccaneer S.2)

Spall Liners are not really the same, you either have one or don’t. The point Swingfire made much earlier was that barely any vehicles have them.

If you’re really gonna stick to the Custom Payloads thing, at least 20 to 30 vehicles got it on release and steadily that has increased.
At the moment, we have 1 vehicle in game that will get it, with at least 3 others that Gaijin said may get it, and I know personally of at least 2 vehicles that have liners irl but have had to be bug reported.

You are not making any sense, the things are entirely related to each other. Loadouts don’t give one nation a game chaning survivability mechanic.

Your argument is that if certain mechanic isnt implemented across entier game from start it shouldnt be implemented at all is stupid and childish since gajin has dome same since start and it was never a huge issue you are suggesting it will be. Custom loadout is much more stronger and game changing mechanic then this is or will ever be. Also if you decide to read whole post you would see that t90m is only russian vehicle that gets it while bradley and m1128 and all leo 2 gets it when is that 1 nation. Pls read whole post before crying in comments.

Yeah cause people complained as custom loadout are no where near the same as spall liners
