Well you obviously aimed at the wrong target then, as it clearly missed.

Alternative foldering suggestion 1, with Conway remaining as a TD;

  1. FV4005/M109A1
  2. Tortoise/G6
  3. Conway/AS90

That way, logical BR progression of 6.3 > 6.7 > 7.0 is preserved in all folders, and nobody has to play a howitzer if they don’t want to.

The Conway should be in a folder with the FV and the M109 should be in a folder with the AS-90
Putting the Conway into the MBT column makes no sense

switch the position of the Conway and M109 and that’s a good suggestion
I don’t know why you would separate the two Centurion TDs and the two tracked 155mm SPGs

Conway as a medium tank???

Fair enough, i didnt know that. Looking forwards to a leo2 turret but at home on a t72 chassis? I think thats what it is???

Yeah I was refraining from that due to the BR differences. I’ll add a second alternative with that.

The Tank EX?

That’s an Arjun turret on an Ajeya (T-72 M1) hull

If anything, I’d call the naked Arjun turret a TTD or Type 90 at home, but not a Leo 2 at home

The later Arjun turrets look more like a ZTZ96

More alternatives;

  1. In this arrangement BR goes up, then back down;

(6.3) FV4005/Conway
(6.7) Tortoise/G6
(6.3) M109A1/AS90 or (7.0) AS90/M109A1

Swapping AS90 & M109A1 means progression becomes ahistorical, and having a lower-BR 155 mm after AS90 is pointless because the better option has already been unlocked. Edit; perhaps swap M109A1 and G6.

  1. In this arrangement, historical progression is balanced but BR progression is incorrect;

(6.7) Tortoise/G6
(6.3) FV4005/Conway
(6.3) M109A1/AS90

  1. In this arrangement, M109A1 is ahistorically early in the tree but the remainder is relatively accurate, and BR progression is preserved.

(6.3) M109A1/Tortoise
(6.3) FV4005/Conway
(6.7) G6/AS90

Basically, ordering for these three folders can be considered to be horizontal, or vertical. BR progression should be prioritised, but historical progression should always be considered.

All of these are better than what Gaijin is doing, but number 3 seems like the best one to me

The Tortoise, besides being a cool concept, is not fun to play at all, so putting it into a folder behind the M109 is a good idea imo

I appreciate the praise.

Variation on option 1 (G6 & M109A1 swapped);

(6.3) FV4005/Conway
(6.7) Tortoise/M109A1
(7.0) AS90/G6

Maybe Tortoise would be fun if the armour was correct

I think that vehicle similarity is more important than BR when it comes to folders. This was the original intent of folders though since Gaijin has shifted greatly towards BR-based folders. But as for keeping the BRs in order I would say it’s not that important; look at the top tier air reshuffling and all its BR jumbles within folders.

nation folders is a much more developed concept

its not that good. Its a piece of trash in reality, it literally has a hole in the armour in front of hull ammo lol

I think they were talking about the Tank EX, which uses an actual T-72 hull, meaning that it doesn’t have that hole

they replied to me talking about arjun so idk

Wait they ACTUALLY made it a medium tank? Despite everything saying it’s a TD like the Avenger and Charioteer? Good God this is a worse idea than I thought
