Hello Gaijin team and community,

So, I’ve never made a post on here, but this topic has just been eating me alive. So, excuse me in advance if this isn’t where I should, but I have to say my piece. First off, I started playing War Thunder late 2020 and as of now I’m on a 780-day streak so for what it’s worth I’d like to think I’ve been quite loyal. And my point in saying that is, I just truly don’t feel like it’s fair I don’t get the chance to obtain certain vehicles because I wasn’t an active player at the time. But I have to verse them. So specifically, I’m talking about the Tiger II 10.5 cm Kw.K, Panther 2, and the Flakpanzer 341. And it’s not like these vehicles were useless so removed and forgotten. No exact opposite over the time since it’s been removed. Not too long ago the 341 got APHE, and a camo in the spearhead trophy. The Panther II through time has kept the better engine, better transmission, better gun. Just like the Tiger II it dodged the nerfs to the engine, transmissions, and has a better gun. Which all this is completely contradicted form what this Administrator said in the news post back in 2019. “Since we have proper replacement now.” The only one that in a way comes “close” would be the pay wall premium Tiger II. At the end of the day this is a game and it’s supposed to be fun, and a way we can live out the lives and times we weren’t apart of. I don’t see how it’s fair that everyone can’t have the playable content within the game, because we didn’t play at a certain time, and for various reasons.

And I can hear the veteran players now saying “WeLl WhAt WiLl We HaVe To StAnD oUt” And the answer is simple veteran players would still have the older titles, profile pics, aerobatic smoke, decorations, decals. You guys still have the past event vehicle ex. the is7 most likely on your account and at 2k the object 279 same thing and getting there, Surblindé not even there anymore, and so much more. Older battle pass vehicles I pray I get out of a trophy box, but no I get the Toldi IIA. Now there should be unobtainable stuff but that should simply be Dev only or like the YouTube cup winners with their trophy vehicles. And I can hear veteran player saying play a different br, which is beside the point. But the answer to that is well the other br I like within the game is getting destroyed by the BMPT’s and Air isn’t on my play list right now because of the Arena event.

So, in saying all this here are my suggestions to bring this playable content to every player. Do a yearly event like with the Maus everyone has the opportunity to get it eventually. Or bring them back in some type of event rerun. Let me use all this convertible RP that I have no other plans for. Honestly, I would even be open to a pay wall, whether like a bundled pack or a battle pass. I don’t like the thought of silver lion boxes for this simply because there is no guarantee you will obtain what you want. And if none of this or nothing else will do. Then I suggest creating a way where we simply don’t have to verse it, hey I can’t have it then why should I have to verse it that’s completely not fair. Or I am a supporter of then just fully remove them no one should be allowed to have them hey it’s not historical right. Because it’s not like the R2Y2’s where I had the choice because I played at the time to say hey those aren’t my interest no thanks, I don’t want them.

Genuinely someone from Gaijin I would like to hear back from you, and I know a large portion in the community would as well including creators. Thank you all for your time.

and fake tanks like 105mm tiger / panther II 88mm not the 75mm they fake never built i completely disagree with them coming back the people who have them are small in numbers and getting lower year by year. they added them in 2014 in beta because wt planned as only planes game then they changed to ground and added fake stuff as place holder.

and also bringing them back will cause people to ask for more fake tanks / planes and use it as excuse.

of course veteran players will own these tanks / titles because for me at least i joined in 2016 and was lucky.

events stuff are meant to be exclusive / gift rare vehicles and collector items that’s why gajin added full tap in profile to show rare stuff.
what’s the point of playing in events and getting these rare stuff if everyone can get them?
that’s what events made for in every game that have events.

Fake vehicles (Tiger 2 105mm, Panther 2, E100, Ostwind 2, Ho-Ri, R2Y, like half of naval) simply DO NOT FIT IN THE GAME when war thunder is advertised and sells players on being “realistic” and keeping them for those who unlocked them punishes newer players because theres content locked away never to be obtainable.

Gatekeeping fakes is just as bad as gatekeeping event vehicles. have them exist in game or have not

rightfully so. theres a ton of vehicles people wont ever be able to try because either they were removed or are exclusive to events, its a waste of assets for gaijin.

I dont want my TOG to be inaccessible to newer generations of players, let them have TOG, Sturmtiger, whatever the hell else there has been.

Veterans and the rest of the hardcore fanbase are important, but not the majority, nor do they deserve special treatment. We should all be on an even playing field whoever we are and whenever we played. Ive got rare stuff in WoT too from before i ditched the game, do in several other games too but never support the VIP club rubbish it creates.

Do you have any idea how annoying it is to say to a friend whose just starting out “hey X vehicle is great-- Crap you can’t ever get it” when its not their fault they cant access it?

Exclusive content for certain players only is anti-player and flat out unhealthy in the long run.

i oppose special glazing of older players in all games not just WT.

Ill take a very recent example in gaming, Forza horizon 6. Preorder bonus cars that players wont ever be able to get once the game comes out. if it was just a special livery i wouldnt care but these are distinct standalone things in the game. Im not a fan of getting a special Ferrari J50 thats instantly locked away from the friends ill be drifing around with

the panther ii was planned to basically be what we see in the panther A but with 20mm more armour across the board.

Only a hull was finished. just a hull with no gun cant really come to the game

they could add this as replacement for panther II 88m / and flakpanzer 341 as i said in my older posts i still have no idea why they removed guns was buit but it used the D hull.
they could also remodel it.
or added as early flakpanzer 341.

older players will be left with 105cm tiger because that thing is fake.
