Look, in this match we all spammed spaa bc we used our sp in using tanks and died, all the “toxic” people you call, died 2 or 3 times before spawning spaa. This happens in almost all matches.

There’s been complaints for over a decade about dudes getting one or two minor hits on a tank, die and immediately get to spawn a plane because of weird points clownery.

Sure, it’s really god damn annoying to spawn and be immediately bombed within 10 seconds of spawning a new tank but that’s an issue with the game itself.
Because spamming SPAA just harms us tank mains, and results in enemy team getting free SP for CAS.
I primarily play tanks. An average player can only spawn in a plane halfway to the end of the match. By that time, the enemy team has anywhere from 4 to 10 players sitting in Missile AA’s and the sky if full of missiles. How do you people think this is “balance”?
Many players already have the top-tier AA’s unlocked and use them. So adding these overpowered AA’s in the free slot is too many. If you want an overpowered AA, research it yourself.
Changing the “free” AA to a Radar + cannon AA gives players access to radar anti-air without Air players facing 100 missiles in the span of 5 seconds of spawning in.

Thats why spaa stay out of the frontlines in the spawn, if enemy tanks aldready reached the spawn, then the battle its already lost.

Well thats their problem, they should spawn CAS sooner. In my experience I can spawn CAS in early, mid or late game without problem.
You either get a same br spaa or a 1 br lower spaa, thats why in 10.3 sometimes I get antelope, and sometimes PGZ. And I dont see how its overpowered, when they are the stock version of the already existing spaas to unlock.
Again I say, what a cannon spaa gonna do against AGM65, Vikhirs or other munitions, when the plane shooting them are so far away?? its just free kills for CAS. Rather not spawn anything if that was the only options.

I have too much I can say about the CAS issue as a whole, but to summarize:
The problem has two parts - bad implementation from a mechanical perspective and average playerbase opinion that it’s overpowered and they’re helpless against it until the advent of guided weapons. Each of these is quite solvable, with separate sub-points that can be broken into three or four main areas:
- Rage-inducing mechanics that make CAS a killstreak powerup. These add nothing to plane functionality and only encourage the infantile arguments we see on this topic.
- The intended counters being either ineffective or unavailable when needed. Additionally, the common points about SPAAG needing to move outside spawn to be effective yet being totally helpless target practice against even the weakest tanks when doing so.
- The complete and total lack of many real-world objectives for CAS to perform (and tanks too, where applicable) to generally give CAS a healthy purpose in the game mode to help their friendly tanks advance while taking heat off of player tanks being the only thing being shot at by CAS. Most real CAS hit supply lines, fortifications, artillery positions, etc - but we have none of that currently and maps are too small to introduce most of that.
- The game as a whole not forcing every user to be truly combined arms by default like Naval does by giving everyone default planes, and the mode’s name being deceptive in suggesting its just tanks, when it actually isn’t. This is the point which could be lumped into point 2.
As a part of achieving points 2 & 4, I wholeheartedly support the free SPAAG addition, but want to see it expanded. Some people will never stop complaining about CAS, and no amount of appeasing nerfs to CAS will help them. Thus all we can do is force-feed all people working counters, buff said counters to ensure they work just as easily as the CAS they’re killing is, and restoratively buff their anti-tank abilities so the average user will actually move outside their spawn zone.
All this will thus punt the ball into the whiner’s court. They can either hit it back by using the given tools (as well as researching and bringing more of their own), or they can sit back and keep screaming “CAS OP wahhhhhhh!” and humiliate themselves in the process, because no longer will they look like helpless victims, but instead the stubborn fools that they are. Arguments about how “OP” CAS supposedly is from such folk will then be tuned out in most future cases, no matter what weapons get added in the future. Or, to sum it up:
Make. Their. Whining. Their. Fault.
THAT is how you solve the player opinion parts of the CAS debate. Give average players tools to help themselves, and eventually most of them will stop screaming and go learn to use them. We saw this with the Coelian buffs. We saw this when the current top tier SAMs were added. We’re seeing this with the free SPAAG added now (at least for some nations where the free SPAAG is effective). If the tools are easy to effectively use, nobody has an excuse to keep complaining.

Normal players who spawn a plane after 3 or 4 kills without spawncamping (yk, CAS players who aren’t the problem) are screwed over by the changes.
Players who rush spawn in groups, and feed off the dumb SPAA spammers are aided by the changes.
Every fair player is screwed over. People who do toxic stuff like spawncamp rush are made more powerful.
I do not see any changes before and after the update, everything as normal as it was. Same amount of spaas as before. And same strenght.

This is a very multifaceted behavior.
Firstly the perception of it being a valuable powerup you “earn” by getting enough spawn points. Second being that most CAS loadouts are utterly worthless in any other game mode. Third may be the current potency of specific weapons or loadouts. Fourth is just the person is a fan of the particular plane.
There are probably many others, but all these come to mind.
