I love “gtfo” responses from casual players. I should just “find a different game” and stop “making the game unfun” for people who “just want to have fun”. It happens in every single game, regardless of the level of realism it has.
Hell Let Loose has arcade damage models, while Squad 44, formerly Post Scriptum, has other issues that made the game dead. They are also infantry-centric games. A realistic tank game should incorporate infantry, but if it wants to be tank-centric, the infantry should be bots.
There are no other realistic tank games. GHPC fumbled the bad by focusing on single player, while Steal Beasts is expensive and has horrible graphics, it’s a simulator/game from the year 2000, 24 years old.
You’re the one here complaining about the game not giving you the matchmaking you want, not me.
I don’t care about your beefs with the other games. The fact remains they’ll give you an experience closer to what you’re looking for compared to WT, so you should go play those for that experience. Whether you quit WT entirely or not in the process is irrelevant to me.
Also, I have 4,000 more battles than you. You’re the casual player, as far as I am concerned, especially moreso considering your insane take.
It’s a dumb one dimensional argument. It’s the kind of argument that is used in an election campaign, because it’s short, sounds smart and can be spammed by bots.
The fact that it can pen everything so easily compromises entire playstyles. The M-51 is just part of the issue, the prime example. There should be post-WW2 ammo at all below 7.7.
And some people like me don’t and never will. I don’t get why an effectively removed vehicle would be brought up in a balance discussion about a different vehicle. The Maus is obtainable from time to time, Tiger 2 105 isn’t.
no ww2 ammo before 7.7 would ruin so many nations. and HEAT was used in ww2 so that wouldn’t change anything. a large part of why the M51 gets so much hell is because you need a lot more experience to get it than any other 6.0 vehicle and you can respawn it more so its spammed out in matches, so you’re more likely to die from one.
The FV4005 (when HESH fucking works) can obliterate almost everything in the game with great ease and one shot, but is also very poorly armoured. do you think it should go to 7.7 too?
