by the devs logic the 2a5 should have the same hull armor as the 2a4 since it only gained 4t or weight while having new turret armor.

Edit the hull on the T90M weighs 3 tonnes more than the T72A and thats with Spall liner New Engine and everything else Ie (Relikt weight too). The Sepv3 saves weight with new road wheels new electric drive system and a few other things. Gajin kinda shot themselves in the foot here

This is a Strawman, Panther.
You and I both agree that such a claim/assumption is incorrect, but don’t claim arguments are others without first confirming with them, cause I never made such an argument.
My argument is about filling the existing space in the “cavity”. Just adding DU [which Gaijin currently has modeled as] would improve by 15 - 25%, which it improves it by 17.1% in-game currently.
Adding DU, and filling the portion behind the array with more array could bring a hypothetical 520mm of protection, which is about 36% improvement.
Without proof of that portion being filled with more array, we can’t know.

They’ve yet to be posted among my presence.
I mean, they have a back to the array in every document - that one has a pretty big gap between its back array.
Could bring that closer and then seal it with a back plate of just steel in the mean time.
But also, going back to the 2021 article where they said they would use some reasonable estimation.
We wont produce classified docs to support russia, and they keep moving the goal post to try and frustrate people into break a policy.
Just my opinion, and while I personally didnt take part in the data collection or the initial report, I do think its reasonable to expect them to do something along the lines of what they stated they would in 2021… guestimate.

Plus it took me 10 minutes to find these pictures but I’m 90% sure if I post this I might get banned because this sight also has blown out Merkava panels on it too. Their is 100% a piece of metal behind that array with circles in it

Well, the unclassified portion of armor is cutting a SEP3 [or SEP2] hull and seeing what’s inside, but that’s an expensive endeavor.
Also the goalposts never changed, Panther; I think you mean to address something else that’s happening.
Cause at the end of the day, the standards are the same. Which is why many of us have been demanding they be more liberal with estimations, even if it means Soviet-Russian classified armor also improves in-game.

There is no where in that link that says 9mm bulkheads are correct.
A secondary source was alone & denied, that’s all.
Need multiple secondary sources, and/or a primary source is all that was stated.

Both these reports were accepted for the abrams bulk head needing to increase in thickness. So this really comes doen to either a designer who is spiteful… or idk.

okay has the m1a2 hull armour been handled god lawfully yes but again i cant restate how fun and slightly op the m1a1 is righnow especiuall since its round actually you know detonates autoloader ammo, i dont know if thats a bug with the a3 at the moment but is frkn hilarious.
give it try before it gets fixed knowing gaijin any nerf to nato vehicles happens in a microsecond(this is a joke)

I mean that depends how you define well. Their decision to add no IFF whatsoever is certainly a decision.
