Have you ever thought about the basics of this game like positioning and line of sight?
Does the Abrams have an average win rate of 55-60%?
I didn’t think so. If an average player can maintain a 60% win rate in the most competitive bracket using Russian tanks but has a 40% to 50% win rate in Germany/America, it suggests the balance of those vehicles.
And before you reply again, I have a 2KD in the BVM with a 60% winrate, and I only hold W in it. Name a single NATO MBT that can reliably shrug off shells across its entire front while running down an enemy like a BVM can.
As it turns out, playing COD Domination in a tank game favors the tanks that can rush caps, not the ones forced to play hull down behind a hill 1-2km away from them. Who would’ve thought?

Does the Abrams have a lineup with easily the best AA, the best fixed wing CAS and an incredibly dominant heli? Last time I checked top tier US only checked off one of these boxes with the AH-64E.
And I have a 2.8 K/D in my M1A2T with a 60+% winrate.
The fact that you think that this is the only playstyle for the Abrams already tells me all I need to know.

Bvm doesnt have the smallest at all, its upf can be easy penned by 53 and has an abysmal breach, 90m has a much better turret and spall liner allowing it live on bad shots

“You see… be quiet.” No but doesnt Gaijin also use only the export armor for all abrams? Something like the swedish one from decades ago although I heard rhis a couple years ago. So anyways its not too worrh getting worked up about the actual values but instead how they went about it. And as I mentioned beforr they kind of said “equal for me but not for thee” or something like that
I don’t think we should correlate wanting tanks to be properly modeled with skill level.
I’m not skilled at this game but I believe we could all use a lot of reworks and bug fixes in every tech tree. We should all demand better from this company rather than continue infighting.
We could achieve a lot. The Abrams is just a symptom of a much larger issue.

This is one of the main talking points I see and frankly, I don’t want to engage with people like that.
That’s why the warthunder forums in it’s own is hostile because there is a lack of respect for one another.

Strange. NATO’s K/D is so high, yet the USSR always wins? How does that work?
Almost like Russian MBTs are usually on par with or outclassed by NATO counterparts like the Abrams/122/Abrams etc but Russia can just leverage their stupidly overpowered CAS + AA combo to easily win games.

it’s pretty much just a SEPv2 with less stuff on top of the turret. It plays identical to the SEPv1.
